As a plus this discussion has given a few GMs who dont already do so a chance to plan a solution for if the PC's attempt to run out buff timers on the bosses for various scenarios.
I still have my standard plans for if the PC's attempt to run out buff timers which kick in after the 2nd round the PC's delay
Which is buff yourself with all your other min/level buffs (might as well if the PCs are giving you extra time) then if there is a second exit get behind them and initiate combat from there, or use the spell open/close to open the door from anywhere in the room, otherwise go invisible and open the door (standing in 1 of the 3 squares from which you can do so choosing which one randomly) (risking readied attacks at the area around the door).
Also note you need the PC's full list of actions while they wait (if they are delaying your boss gets a full round, ie move action open door, standard cast a spell and 5 foot step), if they are readied you get interrupted by the specific readied actions and then can use your standard to cast a spell and 5 foot step.

Just a friendly reminder:
Dominate has a 1 round casting time, so an opponent will be able to start it in the surprise round, but will be unable to finish it until his/her next round.
Suppress Charms and Compulsions. If you are a bard, cleric, oracle, paladin, sorcerer or wizard: just get it! If you aren't one of those classes get an oil of SCaC to oil up that raging barbarian! ;-)

And watching the half naked barbarian getting oiled up by a couple of his fellow party members might be enough of a distraction to cause her to loose her spell. <EG>

Continuing the car analogy, because why not...
The design philosophy behind wayfinders, and the way they've been designed since day one, was that the ioun stone slots were the bells and whistles; the light spell-like ability was the engine. Higher-level spells may be larger engines, but they also don't often offer heated seats (ioun stone slots) in economy vehicles that only have 4-bangers.
I think a good case could be made that the wayfinders core engine isn't as useful as it once was, and that's why there's a lot of focus on an Ioun's Stone's power. Sticking with the car analogy, Carburetors used to be everywhere but now everything is fuel injected.
It's the same way with the basic wayfinder. There's so many other ways to increase your vision or have light (light spell, ioun torch, torches, low-light, darkvision, etc etc) that the engine just doesn't provide any power anymore.

To the best of my knowledge a wand of Prot from Evil only gives you a re-roll, it doesn't cancel the spell. That means if the fighter with a Will +2 fails his re-roll, he's still going after you.
Surpress charms and compulsions. JUST the thing for you. Totally makes the Andoran sourcebook worth it

Also just for clarification, this would be a potion. Oils are potions that target objects.

If the GM said maybe then it is not a pfs game. Crafting is not allowed in PFS. I would suggest that you download the Guide to Organized Play, and read over it. Inside you will find all of the rules that you must follow and adhere to.
