Crane wing using ring of force shield

I was wondering if these 2 can be used together. The description for ring of force shield says:
This ring generates a shield-sized (and shield-shaped) wall of force that stays with the ring and can be wielded by the wearer as if it were a heavy shield (+2 AC).

Does wearing and wielding this still leave you with a free hand (the requirement for crane wing) if your weapon is in your other hand?

Assuming that's quoted then no. If you're wielding something in a hand it is not a 'free hand'.

well, if you want to 2WF and wield two weapons does the shield not work?
if you hold an object in that hand (also not a 'free hand') does the shield not work?

or, further out there, if you are wielding it like a heavy shield, does that mean you can shield bash with it?
