Weapon and strength question

Pathfinder First Edition General Discussion

Sczarni

I am working on my first pathfinder character (and were using the gestalt leveling system) and I'm level 6 alchemist, 1 barbarian, 5 samurai. I'm planning on taking master chymist as soon as possible. I want my mutagenic form to be a hulking brute wielding the largest weapon possible. Which weapon should I be looking for? By level eight my strength mod will be +9 and will increase to near +15 around level 10-12. Any help will be appreciated!

Do you just want a large(heaviest) weapon or a two handed weapon with the potential to do the most damage?

A greatsword or falchion is mechanically the best two-handed weapon, depending on whether you intend to maximize crits or not.

For a hulking brute, I like the earthbreaker. It's 98% as good as the other two mechanically, but has 200% more brute style!

I believe we have a party member in our group with an earthbreaker, I'm not a fan of playing the same type of character as another group member. But the greatsword is a nice idea. @wraithstrike - The most damage.

Greatswords and Falchions are the weapons that do the most damage IIRC, but like Blueluck said that earthbreaker fits the concept pretty well, and it also does a lot of damage.
