Does that mean a human fighter, can at 4th level, retrain out their racial bonus feat for a combat feat?

Having looked for previous threads on this, I can see it has come up before, but never had an official answer. Maybe with the design team being so on the ball lately, we can get an answer on this.

Is it labeled bonus feat? Then yes. And it is, so as by RAW its allowed.

monk... probably just 2

if I didn't hate playing cha based chars then pally 2-4

the classes in pathfinder are so much better in general that there is usually a temptation to go pure in most classes... and I think that's awesome.

PS though looking ahead at what a class could get it only makes me want to cry when I think that i'll only ever make ~12th level in PFS :(

I think RAW "bonus feats" under the Bonus Feats: header are referring only to feats gained via the Bonus Feats class feature.

I also think you can choose to ignore the header, and assume that "bonus feats" under the Bonus Feats: header instead refer to any/all bonus feats granted from anything, even though they might be other class features (which stunning fist is also).

I expect if it is FAQed and answered, it will be clarified that only bonus feats gained from fighter levels and the Bonus Feats: class ability will be the ones able to be retrained.

I have created a thread to request an official FAQ answer here. Please FAQ it.

Ugh. That made me change the text in my houserules to "Upon reaching 4th level, and every four levels thereafter (8th, 12th, and so on), you can choose to learn a new bonus [combat] feat in place of a fighter bonus feat you have already learned."
