Ideal gunslinger feats (avoiding hyper-optimisation)

Advice

Shadow Lodge

Trying to work out what feats to pick for my 11th level character - currently 10th level musket master and probably multiclassing to 10 musket master / 1 fighter.

I have to say, my gunslinger feels sickeningly overpowered and I've tried to avoid anything more to give him more attack/damage advantages in the later levels because he's stealing the show.

Feats so far:
H: Extra Grit (this was an enormous mistake at 1st level, I didn't use it until about 9th)
1: Point Blank Shot
3: Precise Shot (semi-bad choice, thanks touch AC)
BF: Deadly Aim
5: Rapid Shot
7: Dodge
BF: Improved Critical
9: Critical Focus
11: ??
BF: ?? (combat feat)

Also, my gun is a +1 holy seeking musket. Holy was another mistake I made at 7th level; I don't need more damage.

I had intended to go down the critical line of feats when I took improved critical and critical focus, and after I took critical focus was about the point I realised what that was going to be doing to my games. Oops. Dodge was for lack of a better option at the time, and is a great indicator that I need some help.

I've avoided a Reliable gun because I actually want to risk misfiring a bit more and reduce my damage output, and make more use of Extra Grit.

I've looked at Deft Shootist (Grit) and Shot on the Run (Combat), either are doable and seem decent. Any other ideas?

This is a PFS character, so it probably won't go much further than level 12/13. Character concept is a coolio rough gruff kind of gunslinger. Think bitter sheriff with a musket. I've been looking at other classes to multiclass into as well, but nothing else seems to match up - open to ideas there as well though.

Is the gunslinger prestige class pfs legal? It is pretty cool

If you want non damage feats, take iron will and great fortitude. Your saves are awful generally. Also, improved initiative is good.

Shadow Lodge

It's not a prestige class, it's a base class from Ultimate Combat. Great if you like guns, but they should have made attacks hit flatfooted AC, not touch AC. Probably would've completely balanced the class.

My saves are already pretty good - +10/+10/+6.

I had considered Iron Will and Improved Iron Will, but they're somehow not combat feats, and I don't want one without the other.

Liberty's Edge

Don't you need Rapid Reload to be able to reload as a free action? Aside from that, Signature Deed feat is a must. Hold off on taking a Fighter level until after you take Gunslinger 11. I'd recommend Deadeye, Targeting, Bleeding Wound, or Deadshot deeds as your Signature Deed.

To lessen the possibility of attacks hitting (but giving you more damage if it does hit), use Rapid Shot with Deadly Aim, and use a double-barrel pistol, netting you a whopping -8 to your attacks, but if they land, the enemy is gonna be a-hurtin' real bad.

Always useful feats: Toughness, Improved Initiative, Weapon Focus

Yeah, have you thought about taking Feats not combat related if you wanna stall your combat prowess?

Skill Focus: Whatevah (Perception? Always a good choice), Toughness (mo' survivability), Iron Will/Great Fortitude/Lightning Reflexes, and so forth that are very useful but don't directly affect your damage output.

The Improved versions of the save Feats really aren't necessary either. Don't feel bad for not taking them.

You are level 10, and many dcs are now 20. I would say a 50/50 shot is kind of scary, but that is me.

Gunslingers have their own prestige class: http://www.d20pfsrd.com/classes/prestige-classes/other-paizo/s-z/shieldmars hal

I am not sure if it is pfs legal, but it matches your flavor
