works fine but you hafe to make some small changes. At every 5th level or 5 hit die add 1 AC point + dr 1. Note! make sher to give your villans and monster this bonus also.
Use the called shots rules with the dr rules it helps with weapons that
can not pass threw dr.
Make monster that are 3 size bigger than you not able to do called shots!! Its just to big to pin point.
Now if the monster is large they can do called shots but only when they
have you grabed.
this is what we have come up with hope it helps.

I have been toying around with and testing this, and a blanket DR does not scale. It quickly becomes irreverent as you reach mid-levels. What I have shifted to is a percent based mitigation for armor and a percent based damage negation for shields deflecting blows.
What I was looking at was low levels and how it effects combat, then I checked that damage of CR10 creatures vs the DR. At low levels, DR Armor is huge help, absorbing much of the damage. As the levels increase, that DR helps less and less. With percent mitigation, say some heavy armor with 35% mitigation, you get hit at level 1 for 8 damage with 3 being absorbed by the armor. At higher levels, the same armor with for 28 damage would only let 18 damage through. This keeps the abstraction of damage on the same scale as you level up.
