I have been following PFO since the beginning and I have only grown more excited and enthusiastic about the project with each Goblinwork Blog. As it is though I am curious if any additional information will be made available to backers before June 30th, so that we may make more informed choices or at a minimal better educated guesses as to which add ons we would like to select for ourselves?
Class Pack....What would the difference be between a character starting with the Class Pack vs without the Class Pack? Do character's starting without a class pack pack have to begin their career's sporting only the finest of potato sack fashion and armed simply with an improvised club?
Regional Trait Pack.....Will character's without access to this Regional Trait Pack be unable to attain access to such traits?
The Memorial of Honor.....Will Players be able to get their name or character names added to the Memorial of Honor by means other then this Kickstarter?
Twice-Marked of Pharasma.....This sounds like two scoops of awesome, but I would like to know more before deciding if this is the Add On for me.
Shieldmates......How do I get one?

Just to keep this in one thread... I have purchased two Adventurer Reward Tiers for friends.. but I do not see any way I can assign them to someone else. Am I missing something?
Unfortunately this's come up in two other threads so far. Step 3 allows Crowdforger Buddy-level folks to give the Paizo avatar-name, so perhaps your option's there, too? It's not one of the mandatory steps, so it could be you either overlooked it or they've not yet expanded that functionality to Adventurer add-ons.

When I create my character, Does the Regional Trait Pack use up one of my other traits. For example if say we pick 2 traits when we create our characters is are the Regional Trait Pack traits added as something I can pick, or is it added as a 3rd trait. Or do we just not get traits at character creation and this is a way to get a trait at character creation.
Thanks :)

If i'm a buddy from a pledger, when will i be able to add add-ons to my account?
I believe the add-ons will be assigned to Pathfinder Online Accounts directly, rather than Paizo accounts. So I wouldn't expect them to let you assign them until they're actually making Pathfinder Online Accounts. Probably not for a year or so.
Just a guess, though.

Adding this question here as it doesn't seem worth its own thread:
Since I have until June 30 to finalize my pledge, and have a nice bonus coming in June (yay), I was thinking of adding the Hellknights Most Wanted add-on. But that's contingent on this: is the character name/description supposed to be a character I intend to play in-game (Deianira, for example), or just a random NPC? Because it's totally worth it if it's my character.

I had asked these very questions and PMd them to Ryan Dancey. His response was that there is little or no possibility that you will even be able to make your character look like the portrait. The portrait will far exceed the tools that we will have in character creation / customization.
I decided against the add on based on that PM.

That's disappointing. I'm with you; it's not worth it if I can't tailor it to my character and vice versa.

Yes, it is your Character.
As Being notes, you can even state what the poster will say as far as the "crimes" the Hellknights want you for committing. If I had the extra money for this add-on, I'd choose:
"Gloreindl
Male Elven Wizard
Black Hair, grey eyes
Stands 6' 3", weight approximetly 150 pounds
Wanted for the murder of five slavers, seven Hellknights, two priests of Asmodeus, three diabolists and their summoned devils, destruction of Asmodean Shrines, and the freeing of lawfully held slaves. Presumed very dangerous, as known to carry numerous magical items and spells. 10,000 platinum pieces for his capture to answer for these crimes."
Sadly, I don't expect to have enough money saved before the add-on period ends, and well, umm, would have trouble justifying it to my wife LOL :D

Wanted poster or not, I look forward to meeting Gloreindl in game! Maybe we can find some slaves to free, because oddly enough that's on my list for Deianira as well.

My problem is that I backed at the $5 level, but put in $35. I have been included in a friend's Guild level, and accepted his "buddy" request.
The manager will not let me select a pledge level below $35, so I cannot pick the add-ons that I wanted.
What do I do?
You should be able to select a pledge level now.

I think you can log in to the Fulfillment system once you get your Buddy invite and do your own add-Ons. Not 100% sure but high confidence.
What you can't do is buy an Add-On and then send the Add-On to another person. That will be something we'll manage outside the Fulfillment system.
Ryan,
Add-Ons are not available to your Buddy, even after they accept. It is my understanding that those with the Crowdforger Buddy pledge should purchase the add-ons that both you and your Buddy would like, and at a later date one will be able to transfer the Buddy Add-Ons to the Buddy account.

For those of us who made the initial Buddy or Guild pledge and included enough funds with that pledge for everyone's add-ons, will we be able to assign those add-ons (class packs, twice-marked, etc.) to buddies later?
For example: My gaming group designated me as the person to make the pledge - which included $500 for the Crowdforger Guild pledge, plus enough cash for the add-ons everyone wanted. Will I be able to assign those add-ons to my buddies later?

Not trying to be a pain, but just to be clear ..
A) the Add-Ons (e.g. regional trait, medal of honor, twice marked, etc) I purchased for my Buddy through the fulfillment system will be able to be transferred to my Buddy's PFO account?
-or-
B) should I ask for a refund on the Add-Ons I purchased for my Buddy, and inform my Buddy that they will be able to purchase the Add-Ons through the fulfillment system at a different(later) date?
Thank you. My apologies for the beating of what I am sure is probably a dead horse.

I'm buying a couple of Adventurer Reward Tiers in the fulfillment tool, for friends who missed the Kickstarter. Will these accounts get the Destiny's Twin benefit?
If not then my memory tells me it has been said that for a limited time the destiny's twin will be made available as an upgrade.

If you buy Adventurer level Rewards they'll get everything listed in the Pledge Guide for that tier. They won't get any Daily Deals unless you had pledged at least $35 more than your Reward prior to the close of the Kickstarter.

Question?
Are any of the Add-ons;
Buy One, apply to all (characters)
or
are they all;
buy one, apply oneAnd about how long is the Alpha testing, and Beta testing?
I think the Secret Salute was the only add-on that was account level. The others were all one-character perks if memory serves.
They haven't given us a timeline on Alpha testing, but "beta" is Early Enrollment, which was (last I recall seeing) scheduled to be somewhere between 12 and 18 months.

I believe the Secret Salute applies to all characters on the account. Everything else is "buy one, get for one character."

Pledge Drive Addon(Twice-Marked of Pharasma) wrote:...One Twice-Marked of Pharasma Add-On is required for each character. You may purchase this Add-On multiple times. Is that a typo,
It is not a typo. They are saying that a purchase is required for each character that you want to have the benefit.

Pledge Drive Addon(Twice-Marked of Pharasma) wrote:...One Twice-Marked of Pharasma Add-On is required for each character. You may purchase this Add-On multiple times. Is that a typo,
It means that Twice-Marked is a per character benefit, not per account. If you have two characters and want them both to have the add-on, you have to buy it twice.

![]() |

...One Twice-Marked of Pharasma Add-On is required for each character. You may purchase this Add-On multiple times.
I read it as
"Twice-Marked of Pharasma required per character, therefore, you are required to buy this add-on to create a character."And none of the other Add-ons have ".... Add-On is required for each character."

![]() |

That is not an accurate interpretation. Similar text appears in most of the add-ons, and I don't think anyone is going to suggest that you should have to buy a Player Pack, a Regional Trait Pack, an Honorable Title, and a Class pack in order to make an additional character. You are required to purchase Twice-Marked for each character who you wish to have it. Nothing more.

![]() |

Looks to me like it means: If you want the Twice-Marked of Pharasma Add-On for more than one character, you need to purchase for each character, individually.
So if you plan to have multiple characters and/or accounts, you need to purchase multiple add-ons. Suggests both that we may be allowed multiple accounts (saw something about this somewhere) and that each account may have multiple characters. You will still need to somehow secure "exp time" for each character (Destiny's Twin excluded).
Still wondering what Twice-Marked of Pharasma Add-On will do, also. ;)

Most add-ons have "You may purchase this Add-On multiple times"
but none of the other Add-ons have ".... Add-On is Required for each character."
I am hoping that it is a just horrible wording mistake.

$10 - Class Pack
When characters arrive in the River Kingdoms in Pathfinder Online, they do so with little wealth or equipment to their name. A Class Pack will provide the character with a selection of items appropriate to a lower level character
of the class selected when the class pack is used. Each pack will include a weapon, a suit of armor (torso, legs, and helmet if applicable), and three or four other items of such as thieves tools, shields, boots, gloves, belts, hats,
etc. One Class Pack is required per character. You may purchase this Add-On multiple times.$10 - Honorable Title
Prior to arriving in the River Kingdoms, your character served with distinction elsewhere and was recognized for that service. You'll be able to choose a formal title for your character of Sir, Dame, Master, Brother, Sister, Father
or Mother. You will be able to control when this title is displayed to others in-game. One Honorable Title is required per character. You may purchase this Add-On multiple times.$15 - Additional Player Pack
You packed with foresight before arriving in the River Kingdoms! You'll get an extra Player Pack that you can assign to any character you create, or sell on the in-game market to players who didn't plan as well for their journey along the Crusader Road! One Player Pack is required per character. You may purchase this Add-On multiple times.
$15 - Regional Trait Pack
Players can purchase Regional Traits Packs for their characters that give them background elements of coming from a specific country or region in Golarion. A Region Trait Pack will provide the character with an achievement
stating the country they hail from, a title, and a small mechanical effect, all based on the country of origin selected when the pack is used. Select one from: Absalom, Andoran, Cheliax, Five King’s Mountain, Galt, Katapesh,
Kyonin, Lands of the Linnorm Kings, Mwangi Expanse, Osirion, Qadira, Rahadoum, The Shackles, Taldor, Ustalav, and Varisia. One Regional Trait Pack is required per character. You may purchase this Add-On multiple times.$20 - Twice-Marked of Pharasma
All characters in Pathfinder Online are marked by Pharasma and are thus able to return from the dead at the soulbinding points. You bear the same mark as all other characters but you have a second, distinctive mark
as well. None know why you bear this mark, nor what it may portend in the future, but be sure that Fate has many surprises in store for those who are Twice-Chosen by the Lady of Graves. The bearer of this second Mark
will have access to content and mechanical benefits distinct to those who are Twice Marked! One Twice-Marked of Pharasma Add-On is required for each character. You may purchase this Add-On multiple times.
