Elder White Dragon

I received my dragon mini today and it is a bit bent. It leans forward just enough that the wings keep the base from sitting level. Anyone know how I could straighten this thing and keep it straight? I have a pen cap under one wing now hoping that it will stay that way if I leave it there long enough.

I assume this is the paizo miniatures white dragon? You could try the old 'dip in boiling water -wait 10 seconds - remove - bend - hold - ice bath' trick. Used to work great on the WotC D&DM line.

Maybe I missed it, but I was under the assumption the Paizo white dragons weren't out until around Gen Con. What white dragon is this?

Only elder one I know is DDM minis, and that's not a paizo product.

That said, hot water then tweaking it then submerging in ice bath is the best way to fix those. Bending it with a cap won't work past maybe an hour after you remove the cap.

It is the Elder white from WoTC. I used the pen caps just to hold the wing and body in place and let the figure sit on my dash for 10-15 min, then to the fridge. Right now it is holding. How hot does the water need to be (simmering, full boil) if I have to go that route?

Simmering should be just fine, it just needs to be bendy.

Boiling won't hurt either though, just don't wander away and leave it in :P

It's the same idea you had, just more extreme.

So far the dragon has retained it's position. Thanks for the replies.
