1) Have you noticed this from the Blog where Paizo want us to raise Money for charity aimed to help Children? In so doing we are also getting some cool stuff from Paizo such as:

"Jason Bulmahn wrote:

  • $3,000—Caveman Reward: In honor of Ugg-tect, one of the games we will be playing in which the participants are caveman architects, we will put together a free PDF of a "caveman" humanoid race for use in your Pathfinder games.
  • $4,000—Card Game Reward: We will release a PDF featuring the Gauntlet team members as new Ally cards compatible with the Pathfinder Adventure Card Game.
  • $5,000—Audio Reward: We will put together a "dramatic reading" of a chapter from one of our Pathfinder Tales novels, featuring members of the Paizo staff as the characters.

In addition to these great rewards, at $2,500, $3,500 and every $1,000 dollars thereafter I will post up some tantalizing spoilers from the tantalizing spoilers from the upcoming Advanced Class Guide right here in the thread associated with this blog post

And Jason forgot to mention we get to see Steve punch him in the face with the gauntlet on Youtube.

2) If you've seen it what did you think of the first set of spoilers from the ACG?

2A) If you haven't seen it check it out (donate some cash if you can/will) and tell me what you thought of the first set of spoilers from the ACG.

3 How do you think the caveman race will turn out (hopefully we be able to reach $ 3000)? Perhaps it has an int penalty?

1) I saw it but I did not see the rewards goals before...that is pretty cool.

2 & 3) I'll have to get back to you and check that out.

4) Actually I would hit it's mental stats w/ penalties and give bonus to the physical stats. Also probably a ability similar to endure elements for climates they are used to. But we will have to wait and see.

I think you should have collected on the bill before kicking it out.

Since Sorcerers only start with two spells and four cantrips, what in your experience are the best starting choices.

Lord Fyre wrote:

For Cantrips...

1) Prestidigition: The general use of this spell is just too fun. Plus it can clean you and your entire party up after a trip in the sewer.
2) Detect Magic: Always useful.
3) Acid Splash or Ray of Frost or Daze: Something a little offensive.
4) Disrupt Undead: Main spell vs undead

1st level spell:

1) Color Spray or Sleep: Good spells to take out mult. opponents. I usually go with Color Spay because it can be of use as you gain levels.

2) Mage Armor: Good long lasting defensive spell.

I was wondering if "Burning Hands" might be better, given Pathfinder's increasing love of Swarms. (Of course, then you risk taking out a party member.)

This all depends on Bloodline of course. :)

Burning hands is also a good choice...though it is one I usually make at 2nd level for sorcerers.
