Sorcerer / Rogue Prestige Class

Advice

Can somebody recommend some good Sorcerer/Rogue prestige classes for me? All content from PF is fair game as well as 3.5.

I'm designing one of the PCs BBEGs and don't want to go the straight Sorcerer/Rogue route if there are cool prestiges available.

Thanks a bunch!

I dont know exactly what ur looking for in the PrC but go check out the books Complete Arcane Tome of Magic, Draconomicon, Races of the Dragon, Complete Scoundrel and Libris Mortis: The Book of the Dead. All but Scoundrel have good sorcerer PrCs while scoundrel is good for the fighter/rogue types.

Tome of Magic wouldn't have anything I don't think. Its about shadowcaster, truenamer, and binder if I remember my books right. Complete Scoundrel/Mage/Arcane would have something. Possibly adventurer, but I don't have the books on me right now.

Arcane Trickster is the first thing that comes to mind though. Pathfinder or 3.5 version, they're about the same.

if You want you could always run the old spellwarp sniper.

The ability to modify your AOE's into rays is nice for when you hit those single targets to deny them save for half. Doesn't matter how you prepare it you decide whether to warp on casting.

You have regular scaling of a modified version of sneak attack for ray spells, and you'll get it fairly regularly if you bother to get improved invisibility.

Free precise shot, empower 1/day with no adjustment, higher hit die than most 3.5 mages, medium BAB, full spell casting, the ability to sneak attack with rays up to 60 feet out, and the ability to coup de grace with rays

Edit: page 64 of the complete scoundrel.

Well Arcane Trickster is the obvious one.

An Umbral Court Agent or Veiled Illusionist might be interesting choices for more casty oriented Rogue sorts.

http://dndtools.eu/

That site will have all the classes and feats u will ever need for 3.5 play. Its great ive used it a few times but none all that recently since 3.5 material has not come up for me in a while.

Unseen seer is my favorite roguey spell casting PrC from 3.5, spell warp sniper is pretty good as well, and arcane trickster is good for a ninja/ sorc.

Arcane Trickster is pretty much the only option if you're sticking strictly to Pathfinder.

What kind of sorceror did you have in mind? The 3.5 beguiler might be a good fit.
