Yep. If you look at the fighter class info, you'll see that from level 6 onward, they get multiple attacks and each attack after the first is at a -5 penalty from the previous attack. Note that you can only take advantage of these multiple attacks if you take no other actions on your turn except for free actions, swift actions, and a five-foot step. In other words, you must use a full-round action to make multiple attacks.

When your BAB hits +6, you get another attack at -5. So when you hit +6, your attacks are at +6/+1. When you hit +11, that second attack itself hits +6 so you get another one; +11/+6/+1. +16/+11/+6/+1. Also, if you had, for example, 3 levels of Fighter and 3 of Paladin, that will still give you +6 BAB so you'll still get your second iterative attack, even though both Fighter and Paladin would normally get it at level 6. Now, if you were Fighter 3/Bard 3, you wouldn't get it because your BAB would be 1 short on account of Bard being a mid-bab class. You'd need 1 more level of either to total +6.
