Saving a thread locally...

My RotRL thread has been growing by great leaps and bounds (much to my happiness), but I am terrified that through some server error it might be lost forever.

Is there some way for us to download and save off entire threads to our local hard drives to preserve for posterity?

I've done it before. I don't believe there is a function internal to the site that you can use.

We don't have any easy way to save a thread at the moment. I've been toying with the idea of letting people export a thread as an ePub but we haven't gotten around to actually building it.

Viewing a multi-page thread with Readability Redux allows me to print it to a single PDF file, all pages at once. This is on Chrome on OSX Mountain Lion - other platforms may work differently.

Might save you some trouble.
