The only aasimar variant that would work is Peri blooded, and in it the fluff says that they have urges to do both good and evil, and that's really not Sorceress. Plus, it gives only a bonus to int and cha, not wisdom, which is a deal breaker.
The only race besides human that might work is a Samsaran, but they have blue flesh in the fluff. There are some nice skill bonuses to the race, though.

Samsarans are quite powerful, especially if you pick up the alternate racial trait Mystic Past Life. You may be able to use that to pick up some appropriate spells, since Druids are lacking in divination spells. You could do something to ignore the blue skin, either ignore it or have some sort of glamor, etc, to disguise it.
Although human would be fine, if its too much trouble.
Now that I think about it, Skeletor should be a Samsaran. Can't remember if we already thought of that and we have far too many posts for me to take the time to check now. :P

We never had a race for Skeletor, but we did have a Undead bloodline sorcerer. He's got a high Strength, to be able to go toe to toe with He Man, so I figure he's an Eldritch Knight as well. Samsaran is good for Skeletor, but the problem is that he needs a high Charisma, NOT Wisdom or Intelligence. Therefore, I propose Skeletor is a Tiefling, probably a Pitborn aka Demon-Spawn (bonus to strength and charisma, minus to intelligence, tendency to love breaking things).
I figure that Sorceress is just plain human, but with that bonus to both attributes, Intelligence and Wisdom. That makes up for the loss in human skill points, and essentially is trading a feat for +2 wisdom. Fine with me. It's just too expensive to glamor someone just to get rid of blue skin and funny eyes.

You are right, it does seem that Suli would be a good match, but I don't recall him using elemental magic or hitting someone with an aura going on him.
But, it's enough to investigate. I looked at Magus, and didn't think Skeletor was the type, he's more Charisma based.
Skeletor doesn't have a lot of variety in his powers, but he DOES use them a lot, so I figured Sorcerer with a few levels of Fighter.
I never heard of the elemental knight magus archetype, where is it?

Already took care of the mount; Cringer/Battlecat. Just a standard Tiger, with the awakened spell on it so it is intelligent, and put levels of Barbarian on it. Then take Leadership for He Man so that it becomes a cohort.
As for Skeletor, Azaelas, no. You know as well as I do that players mostly look at attributes when choosing races, therefore Samsaran wouldn't work well for a Sorcerer. Therefore, I had a Pitspawn tiefling as being his race. FX is nice, but it can always be painted on that he's got blue skin and claws, that's not a problem, it's not like he ever uses the claws anyway.
Craig, I want these guides to be mostly achievable by standard rules so anybody could conceivably play one, and so it really irked me to use two archetypes, even if they don't overlap, in a hybrid fashion for He Man.
Bardess |
She-Ra: Oath Against Savagery Paladin (Divine Bond with her Transformative Holy Sword; Swiftwind -half-celestial unicorn- is her cohort, normally disguised as a common horse by a spell).
Bow's ok as an archer/bard. Queen Angella's definitely a celestial bloodline sorceress, and maybe Glimmer as well. Madame Razz is a Wisdom witch.

Anyway, does anyone have any more ideas as regards Sorceress? So far we have a Urban Druid, human with the feat spent to give her Int and Wis bonuses. I propose we max out her Wisdom score, because she was the most wise member of the cast. Average Con and Strength (10-11) because she never used them. Relatively high Charisma (14-16) because of her physical attractiveness.
After we finish Sorceress, I was thinking either Teela or Skeletor, as people seem interested in the latter though he be a villain.

I agree with the average Str and Con. She weakened quite easily. In fact, I'd say she had the spellpoint variant from Super Genius Games. If you used your powers too much, especially high level stuff, you became fatigued.
For Skeletor, I'd say arcane blooded sorcerer and his staff being his focus.

I seem to recall something from UM that had spellcasters blow hp to amp up their spells somehow. Dunno where exactly. She mostly did divination type spells than anything else, with a few direct damage.
Skeletor I agree is a sorcerer (likes to order people around, zorches all the time with little variety), but I'd peg him as being a Lich and even having the Undead bloodline. He never had a familiar as such, just his mount Panthor that he rarely used. Also, I would peg him as being an Eldritch Knight, as he did go toe to toe with He Man once in a while. Make him 20th level, and he'd be an 18th level caster with that class.
I think his race might originally be a Tiefling, the version that grants bonuses to Strength and Charisma. Pitspawn, I think, the one that likes to break stuff.
