Does Ninja Climb Speed grant the racial bonus?

So, I have the ninja trick "Wall Climber", which: "A ninja with this ability gains a climb speed of 20 feet, but only on vertical surfaces. This ability cannot be used to scale perfectly smooth surfaces or to climb on the underside of horizontal surfaces."

Under climb, it has the rule that creatures with a climb speed have a +8 to their climb checks. Does the wall climber trick give this or does it have to be a creature, or start with the climb speed?

Given that it used the term "climb speed" instead of saying something like "you can climb at a rate of 20ft instead of one-quarter your speed", we have to assume that they meant what they wrote.

I would say he gets the bonus seeing as he still needs to make checks to climb most surfaces.

Don't quote me but I'm pretty sure if you have a racial climb bonus it stacks with a feat climb bonus which stacks with a trait climb bonus, etc. And the Wall climber is a special ability which I think will stack also.

And taking 10 makes climb checks easy, especially with the limitation on what you can climb.

But how long does "Wall Climber" last? Is it an hour like the Darkvision trick? Or 1 minute per level ala "Sudden Disguise & "Ventriloquism?" Or just 1 round per level ala "Vanishing Trick?"
