Gamestorm 2013, Vancouver, WA March 21-24

Greetings fellow Pathfinders,

Pathfinder Society Organized Play will be making its biggest appearance ever at Gamestorm 2013 (March 21-24) at the Hilton in Vancouver, WA, but first we need GMs willing to volunteer to run our games! Let me fill you in a bit on our part of Gamestorm.

SLOTS
The convention runs from Thursday, March 21st around noon and continues uninterrupted through Sunday the 24th at 7 PM. We will be running ten slots of PFS over the course of the weekend. The morning slots will run from 8 AM to 1 PM, the afternoon from 1:30 PM to 6:30 PM, and the evening slot from 7 PM to midnight. The slots are identified by the number as follows.

• Slot 1: Thurs afternoon
  
• Slot 2: Thurs evening
  
• Slot 3: Friday morning
  
• Slot 4: Friday afternoon
  
• Slot 5: Friday evening
  
• Slot 6: Saturday morning
  
• Slot 7: Saturday afternoon
  
• Slot 8: Saturday evening
  
• Slot 9: Sunday morning
  
• Slot 10: Sunday afternoon
  

BENEFITS OF VOLUNTEERING
If you volunteer for only one slot, you will receive a "one-day membership" for the day you are volunteering (meaning that you will get into the con for free on that day). If you volunteer for at least three slots over the course of the weekend, you'll receive a full membership for the entire convention (Thu-Sun). That's a $50 value!

On top of GMs getting access to GM-only PFS convention boons, you will also receive GameStorm bucks that you can use to bid on cool RPG swag, as well as tokens to compete in the drawing for Paizo swag. The more slots you volunteer to run, the more stuff you will receive!

SCENARIOS TO BE RUN
We're still trying to narrow down which scenarios we'll be offering, but they will definitely include the Pathfinder Society Special Race for the Runecarved Key along with this year's special Day of the Demon. Race for the Runecarved Key will be played only on Saturday, March 23rd in the afternoon and evening slots. We are also considering running entire PFS-sanctioned modules all-day Friday.

I'll be updating this thread as we decide on the exact lineup of scenarios.

COMING IN FROM OUT OF TOWN
If you're coming in from out of town, no, you can't stay on my couch, but you can stay directly at the Hilton (Hilton Reservation Page) for around $114 a night per room, or if you are on a tighter budget, you can try the Red Lion Hotel on the Quay (ca. $74/night), the Comfort Inn and Suites (ca. $81), or the Econolodge (ca. $65), all three of which are within walking distance to the Hilton.

HOW DO I SIGN UP?
If you'd like to volunteer for this weekend, please email me at [e-mail]. Please, please, please include your name, your Paizo email address (the one you log in with here), and which slots you wish to volunteer for (see above). Unless you're only volunteering to run one slot, you'll be asked to prepare two scenarios and possibly a very short Pathfinder RPG intro event. The scenarios you'll be responsible for will be added to your Paizo account. You'll be responsible for bringing any maps, minis, and copies of the sceanio(s) yourself; we will provide chronicle sheets and Pregens. Please note again that for the Saturday afternoon and evening slots, everyone will be running the Race for the Runecarved Key.
