Medium creatures take up 1 inch square on the map. If a spell like “Wall of Stone” was cast in the area around that creature, would he get to make a reflex save if a spell like“Geyser” was placed in the same square as the creature?
If the Wall of Stone reached all the way to the roof of the place, with the Geyser spell still active, would that creature be trapped within the wall of stone taking damage each round from the Geyser spell?
To save any argument about line of sight, say that the wall of stone is located where it starts from the roof and protrudes down to where it is a half a food off the floor. Or say that the caster is melded into the wall of stone so he can see where he is casting.

I'd think that if a creature failed its save vs Wall of Stone (the save you get to avoid being trapped in the first place) then it would in fact be stuck within the area of the geyser. It would still be able to make Reflex saves to reduce the geyser damage and avoid being tossed but would be unable to leave that area and would thus be subject to the "occupying the geyser" damage each round.

Amsheagar:
It is possible, but difficult, to trap mobile opponents within or under a wall of stone, provided the wall is shaped so it can hold the creatures. Creatures can avoid entrapment with successful Reflex saves.
So, if you erect a Wall of Stone around a creature it gets a save to avoid being trapped.

By RAW I think they do, though for realism I'd take that movement out of their next turn - they have to start their next turn by spending a move action, charge, run/withdraw action, or whatever other action would be necessary to get out of that area and then proceed with the rest of their turn. Basically the Ref save would be a "bolt through the door/wall as it's closing/forming" deal.
