Workshop on using LEDs?

Would anyone be interested in such a thing? It would talk about batteries, LEDs, voltage, amperes, and resistors, giving you the basic info you'd need to add an LED to a miniature or a piece of terrain.

I would! I dig creating dioramas, though I haven't done much of it lately.

Not much response so figured I'd chime in.

I think it would be cool. I was thinking of trying to do it with one or two of the fire elementals in the bones group that I am getting.

Yes please! But I need it before PaizoCon so I can use them in my terrain for Feast of Sigils.

So you're wanting me to do a time travel workshop as well? :)

Sovereign Court

Count me in for a time travel workshop!

As to the LED thought, I think it could be an interesting topic. Not sure how much use I would get in regards to minis, but there are a few minis I could see using it with (aside from the forge fiend).

Shadow Lodge

think this would be neat.

I'm interested in this workshop!

I've a 20 year background in LED tech. If you need anything let me know.

Funny you should mention that....

I was planning on much the same thing using PICs to give a flickering effect to a surface-mount LED and running them off a supercap that I could recharge from a base. The entire contraption that could be added underneath the standard 1" bases would use a flyleaf switch to they would only be active when stood upright.

I was also going to use the same mechanism to light up my haunts...
