How do you pronounce the name Sinashakti?

Lantern Lodge

Sinashakti, Empyreal Lord of journeys, joy, messengers. How is his name pronounced?

I would go with Sin-ah-shack-tee.

Silver Crusade

I don't think an official answer has been printed yet, but I've been saying it like "sih-nah-shak-TEE".

Also:

Iomedae = First as "EE-oh-meh-day", then after finding out the official pronounciation: "EYE-oh-meh-day"

Abendego = "AH-ben-day-goh"

Mediogalti = "meh-dee-oh-GAHL-tee"

Alain = "doosh"

Zon-Kuthon = "zahn-KOO-thahn"

Carefully.

Thanks all for the pronunciations.

Liberty's Edge

My first inclination is "sih-na-SHOCK-tee".

"Sin-ah-shok-ti" is roughly what I went with when I first spelled out the name.

It's based off the word/concept of shakti, tying into this empyreal lord's Hindu inspirations. The similarities between him and Rama are intentional, though Sinashakti is much more whimisical.

Sadly there's not an illo of him in Chronicle of the Righteous, but you do get a lot more about him and his faith in there.

If the word is derived from Sanskrit (like shakti), the pronunciation would be "Shee-na-shak-ti." There isn't a English-like Si- sound in classical Sanskrit, as it's always a hissing sound.

In any case, Shakti is another name for Sita, as the avatar of Lakshmi.

Siina has the following meanings (among others), if this has any bearing on Golarion:
Blind, one-eyed, body, white, garment, bond, provision, store. It could also be "China."

Shakti is a feminine word...

While Vudran is not the same as Sanskrit, using similar pronunciation rules makes sense, at least to me.

Hmm...this has me wondering if Chronicles of the Righteous is formatted like Lords of Chaos(single column entries dedicated to each Empyreal Lord with one per two-page spread getting art), or if it's going some other rouMARCH WHY YOU NOT HERE ALREADY

Still really giddy about the cultural inclusiveness of celestials going on here. :)

I've cut it down to once per year! I'm just getting it out of the way early this time around!

Not to suggest that Vudra is all nagas all the time, but this does make me really want some Sinashakti love within naga/nagaji culture now. And then there's lillends.

All of the other notes on Sinashakti's name make me want this book that much more to see how those ideas can be played with.

So I am unable to find a Holy Symbol for Sinashakti in my meager collection of books. Does anyone have a picture of it? Or a good description?
Thanks in advance.

None have been introduced for him yet.

Triangles are the symbol of Shakti in the RW. Interlaced triangles form the basis of Shakti mandalas. For some examples, see here. While non-canon, it could work as the basis for a symbol if you need one now...
