Rules Questions

I am trying to determine how much gear my Roc Animal Companion can carry and still fly or PFS play. I have searched the book and various threads, and come up with nothing.

Starting Statistics:Size Medium; AC +5 natural armor; Speed 20 ft., fly 80 ft.; Attack 2 talons (1d4), bite (1d6); Ability Scores Str 12, Dex 19, Con 9, Int 2, Wis 13, Cha 11; Special Qualities low-light vision.

12 Str = Light: 43 lbs. or less Medium 44–86 lbs. Heavy: 87–130 lbs.

I have found various conversations relating to cobbled together rulings based on armor rules or the fly spell. Unfortunately, I am not sure these restrictions apply to Flight as opposed to Fly spell, for the obvious reason, flying is not the same as magical flight. (A bird flying through an anti magic field will not crash to the ground, a wizard using fly will, as an example.)

Flying mounts can't fly in medium or heavy barding.

While this specifically seems to refer to flying mounts instead of flying animals in general, it seems to imply armor makes natural flight impossible or at least very difficult (at the very least it would take ACP on flight checks)

Shadow Lodge

it can fly with less then its max load. i havent found any rules about mounted combat being limited to a size or weight, but as was posted above you cant wear more then light armor.
