Table 15-29 foot note 2

Rules Questions

kinda wondering if something might be missing in the spell duration modifier

it skips from 10min/lvl with a price mod of x1.5 to 24 hour+ at 1/2 price

so where do spells like ant haul that has a 2hour/lvl duration fall.

it looked to me like hour/lvl duration would be the intended base and so have a mod of x1

but that just an idea

Upon looking at it I agree with your assessment.

Interesting...

"If a continuous item has an effect based on a spell with a duration measured in rounds, multiply the cost by 4. If the duration of the spell is 1 minute/level, multiply the cost by 2, and if the duration is 10 minutes/level, multiply the cost by 1.5. If the spell has a 24-hour duration or greater, divide the cost in half."

The answer to your question is, there is no multiplier for a spell that lasts 2hours/level.

Rounds = x4
Minutes = x2
10 minutes = x1.5
anything between 10 minutes/level and 24 hours = x1 (no modifier)
24 hours and up = x0.5

You are just asserting the same speculation I made. Since the book does not list a base or an x1 modifier it is up to interpretation whether or not there is an x1 mod. My GM agrees some may not for whatever reason. Unless a pathfinder writer weighs in on this I am just looking for opinions.
