Interesting mount

Advice

So im playing a fighter, im planning on getting an epic, rare mount. Something both useful and unique, under an CR of 6. No, a Griffon wont do.
Any suggestions?

Unicorn, or Half-Celestial Spider.

Half celestial spider seems a bit hard to get into a city, ever. Neither is a griffon, but that thing can at least fly. And a seal told me unicorns are gay.

Also, how does one obtain an half celestial spider?

You are thinking of the wrong kind of Unicorn.

This is what you want.

Thats butch but still gay :D
Looks cool though. The thing is arent unicorn blood and other parts extremely expensive? Im scared someone might try to shank it for money or something :<

Your words are hurtful and homophobic.

Perhaps you would prefer an Owlbear, or would be afraid Drow would fry it, and eat it with watermelon?

ok, im actually sorry about the previous comment. Not speaking english as a native language leaves me a bit insensitive to homophobia, or rather makes it hard to notice the border of joke/offense.

But back on track, interesting mounts ideas?

Consider the Nightmare Mount.

You will need to work it out with your DM, but look at the cost of Spell-casting services, and the Animate Dead spell for a general idea on price.

A x1.5 of what it would normally cost should be about right.

By the way, no hard feelings. I just happen to be an Unicorn fan.

My brother made me a Slaaneshi Unicorn Demon Mini recently for my Warhammer 40k army, so they heavy on my mind.

You could try a wyvern.

Do you want your mount to be able to fly?

I've always thought a rhino would be an interesting mount, especially with a charging build.

Giant snake?

How about an ankheg?

Both a nightmare mount and an ankheg sound cool. A rhino is kinda impossible in the setting that we play in.
