One last thing before I go, a tip to help keeping track of the stored points. Take four d6 dice (or three d8, if you like that more) and set them aside for the gloves. As you gather points, take a die turn it to reflect the points stored. When the die shows 6 (or 8), you can use that die.
That raises new problems - what if you have only one point stored in the gloves?
Then you have only one die in the actual pool and the others are waiting to be added somewhere close by.
