Awesome!
Pai HP roll 1d6
I'll update teh rest later.
Ugh...do we reroll ones? If so, I'll try again. 1d6 ⇒ 2
Level 5:
6 skills, Know. Arc., Know. Planes, Spellcraft, Bluff, Disguise, Stealth
2 Feats: Impr. Init. and Spell Penetration
2 new spells: Haste, Invis. Sphere

Pai Kromnite |

Thought you might like me to take Haste, Slumper!
I want to give props to the DM for a second too. 5th level is a good spot to evaluate things. I'm totally impressed with his work so far, and this plague stuff has me on the edge of my seat right now. PbP's come and go all the time, but since joining this one, it has been nothing but regular and active posting from all parties. I appreciate the DM keeping the game running this long. Please keep it up, everyone, I love this AP and would love to keep running it for years!

Slumper |

Agree and second that Pai. He ran another one that I was in for some goblins and I absolutely loved it. I'm at a total loss on what to do on this one which is a good place to be since I've got the rather stupid but street smart fighter. I'm the muscle!

Ruperta of Hetzau |

I have to say I am liking the game very much. Thanks.

Blessing of the Watch

Diagnose Disease
Shield of Faith

i have haste, so you do not need to take it if you do not want too, got it last level
Cool, Paxs. If you have Haste, I'll trade it back in for something more useful, and grab it again in a couple levels.
Edit: I traded it for Stinking Cloud.
While I am thinking about it, I want to try to Spellcraft again for the three spells I was unable to learn last time.
Sleep...need a 21 to learn it. 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (17) + 12 = 29
Scorching Ray...need a 22 to learn it. 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (6) + 12 = 18
Water Breathing...need an 18 to learn it. 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (20) + 12 = 32

Corbyn's job is out in the field, and his computer use is sporadic. I'll check on him.

Ruperta of Hetzau |

So we got 15 pp, 302 gp, 8 sp and 22 cp in cash... 453.02... between 5 is 90.60 gp, with 2 cp to play "hit the birdie" with. I am adding 90.60 gp to Ruperta.
About the small key in the shape of Abadar's holy symbol with a 261 etched on it I guess it opens a safety box at the temple of Abadar.

Has Pai seen any gnome sized doctors wearing those bird masks or have they all been human? I have that normal version of the bird mask, and if the jig is up, could Pai wear it and attempt to blend in, or would it be better to give to one of the humans as they would have a better chance at pulling off a ruse?

Just an observer...sigh.
I envy the speed and frequency of your game. Were doing the same AP..but our DM can only seem to get us one post maybe a day.. so slow.
I have wanted to play this character Asherick in the Korvosa - Curse of the Crimson Throne AP for a long time and our game is soooo slow.
Its been like 20 pages or more since we started part two of this AP and were just getting to the basement of the hospice. Albeit, we have a lot of RP.. cause we must.. we don't get much motion from our DM. Not complaining just frustrated with the pace.. but real-life takes priority.
"Time is the Crucible in which we ALL burn."
Well sorry to intrude, have fun!

Pai Kromnite |

Our DM is pretty awesome, Asherick! This has quickly became one of my favorite games. I know anything can happen, but this game has a chance to really go on for a while, I think.
Ruperta and I got lucky when we got selected as fill ins here!

Asherick Whiteplume |

Yeah, Ashe was not a good fit for all the murderously-neutral characters in the game I joined... lots of arguments over justice, law, and mercy. {sigh!}
I'm now the oldest character in the game... all the original players are gone... and there were four of them!
Kind a left a bitter taste to the game. I'm 'sort of' having fun with it... Ashe is too big a hero for the sensibilities of the other players it seems.
...or perhaps its just me?
Ah well.. I should avoid reading your gameplay.. you have done things we apparently have not. Hmmm... wonder how we missed the vampires? I know they are on the cover of the AP "Seven Days to the Grave", was kinda looking forward to that fight.
Sorry to ramble.. I'll leave you to your game, thanks for the replies.

Ashe, thanks for the compliments! I find APs to be a million times easier to run than a homebrew, just because instead of building the story from scratch, you've already got a pretty good looking skeleton that just needs a little flesh here and there. And Curse is a great story, full of lots of neat set pieces. Plus I have an office job that requires me to check the internet to maintain what little sanity I have left. And finally, great players who routinely check in and move the story along. All that is a good mix of a Play by Post game!

Asherick Whiteplume |

Not sure how well that would work as the events of Ashe's game are ...decidedly different from your game. It be better to make a new character.. but I REALLY want to play Ashe..lol. Thanks but it would take your DM looking over the evens of our game to get some idea of what Ashe is like and how best to fit him in... truly MONUMENTAL task to read through ALL of what Ashe has done. Not sure it would be worth his time... I'm... kinda wordy...
But I'm flattered you would consider it. Thank you anyways! :)
