I rarely play with an elf and I do not have much affinity with rangers, but I had a fun 3.5 character that i would like to convert to PF.
Nirneth was a wild elf (+2 dex, -2 Int), she was a lightly armored combatant, she prefered spears and guerrilla tactics.
I do not see how to properly convert her to PF since the -2 penalty to constitution is problematic for melee characters.
So, any help would be apreciated.
Points to take into account
- No spells: I think that restrict the character to skirmisher or trapper but i do not know wich is better.
- preferably no pets: I do not see what to do here, the other opton for hunter bond seems so weak.
- Spear as her weapon.
- preferably light armor: she was not sophisticated.
- Originally she TWF with her spear and amor spikes, I do not know what style would be the best in PF.
- The only other class She could take is barbarian but prererably just a couple of level at much.

Elves just aren't sturdy, even the wild ones, so you may be better off just making your own "wild elf" using racial trait archetypes (to substitute the magic, etc.) and as Brew suggested taking feats to help with the lower CON as well as pumping your "favored class" points all to hit points.
As to skirmishing, plenty of feats for that for fighters, including Spring Attack and Vital Strike. You may consider the Quick Draw feat to throw weapons (javelins, daggers, etc) before you close with leap-in and out attacks. Could dip levels into barbarian and fighter to get the mix you prefer of savage and finesse.
