Sounds like a gronard who can't let go of the past. Seems to me you need a new GM!

The dwarven paladin in mine ran up to Logrivich with his smite evil activated and scored a crit with his dwarven waraxe! One hit, one kill! It was actually pretty epic and made the encounter memorable!

As has been stated earlier, Rasputin Must Die was a major selling point for me, as well! I'm nearly done running Maiden, Mother Crone, so I'll be tackling RMD in a couple of weeks. I also plan on running it as written, but I'm sorely tempted to do the Greyhawk re-skin! Awesome ideas!

Threesome.

You're welcome.

Well played!

Slayer is an awesome class! It does fit Conan very well!

Ultimately it's up to your GM regardless of how you interpret the rules.

Thanks a lot for doing these! I'm about to run Reign of Winter and we use a vertical LED monitor for a VT and these will help immensely!

Wizkids did a Cthulhu for their Horrorclix line that's basically colossal. It's pretty cool looking!

I wanna see him do for orcs what he did for goblins!

Tell them THAC0 sucks and that the d20 way is much easier!

Two-handed weapon ranger! That's what I'm running right now in a RotRL campaign and she's kicking butt! At 10th level I'll be taking giant as my favored enemy!

And then the spell runs out in the middle of the "act"! Ewwwwwww....

It's doable on Herolab without a non-validation warning, so I would allow it as a GM.

Me and two buddies chatted with Sean at the Paizo booth at Gencon 2012. He was really cool and knew his stuff! My one friend asked him why there are no spells in Pathfinder to lower saving throws. Sean very tactfully pwned him with his answer! It was epic!

You must understand this isn't to prevent the Paladin of Pharasma, but rather to block Paladin of Asmodeous player who would make a mess of tables. Basically the rule isn't to stop creativity, but to stop anti social behavior by individuals in the form of character creation. ;-)

Excuse me? I, Milton Smithson AM a Paladin of Asmodeus and I am a Pathfinder Society legal character. Which of the many Paladin abilities would you like for me to display?

Totally awesome character concept! I love it!

Have him take the Test of the Starstone in Absolom, then when he becomes a god he can challenge Gorum.

+5 holy evil outsider bane weapon to start with.

On an attack roll of 1 (Critical fumble), I have the players roll a dc 15 reflex save or drop their weapon. It also screws up any more attacks. I figure a static save is good because at low levels they're more apt to drop their weapons than at higher levels.

You can please all the people some of the time, or some of the people all the time. Thankfully, I'm one of the "some of the people"!

Sounds groovy! Count me in!

Spawn of Rovagug.

Doesn't matter what the rules say, the GM is the final word! Besides, fun is the Golden Rule in any rpg (IMO)!

Ok all just a question what do you think makes someone a power gamer ?
Someone whose playstyle I don't like.

I think this is a type of Powergamer attitude. What makes your playing style better than anyone else's?

This is gonna rule! Can't wait! I'm gonna hafta start perfecting my Russian accent!

I would think that would create an interesting role playing challenge, but I guess some people just don't want that in their games anymore!

Maybe people hate paladins because you have to put a bit more effort in the role playing aspect than a lot of other classes. I suspect they'd be more popular if they could be chaotic neutral.

While perusing the boards, it seems there is much disdain for the paladin class. Why is this? Is it because people perceive them as too powerful or do people think playing a character seen as the pinnacle of good isn't "cool"?

Go skirmisher and take the Toughness feat. That'll balance out the lost hit points. Or make it a half elf.

Played at Gencon without my laptop, but I still used Herolab to print out stat blocks. Still the best RPG software!

After having a tear to mull it over, the Conan remake wasn't actually that good. Oh,how I wanted to love it!

If you have Green Ronin's Book of Fiends, they mention a demon lord named Vaz'zht. They don't describe him much except his areas of concern. Which are nobility and espionage. Sounds pretty close to Grazzt. Since Erik Mona wrote Armies of the Abyss for Green Ronin, I think it's not too much of a stretch to say that book influenced the Book of the Damned!

Me and my buddy Cyderak prefer rolling.

Cynical much? It looks totally awesome and I can't wait!

We use lots of D&D and Pathfinder minis, pewter minis for PCs. My buddy built a gaming table with a projector to project the map on the table top. D20 pro is the mapping tool. If we don't play at his house, it's flipmats.

Awesome!

How about this from Avengers Vol.3 #2:

They could also sneak behind enemy lines to kill the BBEG thus decapitating the army.

Here's a link to a site where someone statted him out for 3e: http://old.enworld.org/Inzeladun/conan.htm . Could just convert to Pathfinder. I think making him a ranger with the skirmisher archetype fits pretty good. BTW saw the movie and it was awesome! But comparing it to the first Arnie movie is like comparing apples and oranges.

Golarion all the way! However, the characters in my current campaign own a bar that exists in Absalom and the city of Freeport simultaneously. So if I didn't have Golarion, it'd be Freeport and Greyhawk!

As far as a rulebook with bad organization goes, the 1e DMG was king! That was one of the main fixes in 2e!

If the final product looks even half that good, these are gonna be AWESOME!

Hells yea! Love the idea of archetypes! Way better than PRCs, IMO!

I used to use E-tools for 3.5, then I switched to Herolab. Herolab is so much better, IMO, than E-tools! It is an invaluable tool for GMing (NPC creation and running battles)! Don't know what I would do without it!

Let Wizards keep their 4e as it is and the D&D brand name, too! That's their thing now! Classic D&D feel and tropes are in great hands with Paizo and Pathfinder!

To be determined. If it ends up *not* being part of the sub, we'll make sure that RPG subscribers who preorder it do receive some special perk.

Awesome! Thanks!

I'm bringing Graz'zt into my Golarian campaign, Iggwilv too. But if you want to bring him in but don't want to use his WOTC name, in Green Ronon's Hordes of the Abyss (written by Erik Mona), it mentions a demon lord named Vaz'zht, which seems pretty close to Graz'zt.

I would say just look at a map of Golarian, look for the features you want, and go from there. Just north of Riddleport in Verisia is a junction of two rivers with one of the rivers flowing from a mountain range north of it.
