I had a dream last night I cooked my cat in a frying pan and ate it.
As she lay in the frying pan with bubbling grease and mixed greens with
onions, she looked me in the eyes just before she died.
What does that mean?

I am in a parallel universe where science and magic work side by side. The people from this parallel universe know I am an outsider. I get a job with "public works" and work in a huge building with all sorts of controls that manage the magical force being used as a power system, and these controls manage a monorail, a dam, power plants, etc.
I am sitting in the audience in a game they play. Pillars are suspended from the roof with walk-around platforms. Each team is composed of two players (male or female), who are garbed in outfits like gymnasts are. Each player carries what amounts to three interlocking hockey sticks, and the blades of the sticks are razor-sharp. The game is played to the death, and magic empowers the game like it does everything. While I am sitting in the audience, one of us pulls out a gun and is ready to shoot this female player and kill her (she looks like Jane Fonda). 'Jane' turns around and snaps her hockey sticks together and catches the bullet. She then pops them out half way, and the assassin starts to shake violently. She then pops the sticks out to full extension and the assassin explodes in his seat (gross).
The assassination attemp had something to do with politics.
I start playing an amateur version (not to the death) and become undefeatable because of my "outsider" way of thinking. "Jane Fonda" is the best player in the world, and her thought is if she partners with me, who could defeat us? We become partners and lovers, and are making a killing (literally) on the game.
Then one day, for a reason no one knows or saw coming, the magic starts to fade. I rush to work and am busy twisting dials and knobs, trying to keep the dam from rupturing, etc. "Jane" comes after me, because the magic in the sticks are fading, and she has to know which one of us is the best player. So, I am dodging about the building trying to prevent what chaos I can while she's chasing after me, trying to kill me.
(I remember almost all of my dreams. I have never had a black and white dream that I can recall, but I did "dream in anime" about a week back. Almost all of my dreams are very convoluted and intense, and at least half are lucid. It is not common, but sometimes my dreams are layered - I'm dreaming about me dreaming about something, etc.)

Frying cat dream... you were also frying mixed greens. That is the point here. you need to eat more veggies.
