Is it possible to run PFS without regional coordinator and receive credit

Pathfinder Society

Greetings,

I'm in a country that does not have any regional coordinators. Would it still be possible for the DM to run PFS games and submit the data for credit in PFS?

Silver Crusade 5/5

Yes, yes, and yes.

Regional Coordinators are like lighter fluid to a region. Fires start just fine without them. :)

Grand Lodge 5/5

Yes, absolutely. Though if one is running PFS they are a GM as the term DM is trademarked for the D&D game.

The event organizer just needs to create an event on Paizo.com and then report the results afterwards. There is no need for a volunteer regional coordinator (Venture Officer) to be involved.

What country are you in Kathleen?

Shadow Lodge 4/5

Yes. All you need to do is:

  • Purchase a PFS Scenario of Mordule
  • Ensure that the players and GM have PFS numbers
  • Read and follow the Guide to Organize Play
  • Run your event
  • Report the event

A lot more information on these topics can be found under the GM section of the PFS web pages Link.

Best of luck and welcome to the games!
