I've been interested in Tiefling and/or Dhampir Boons - but my situation's similar to Pahlok's. Pathfinder Society's been dead where I live for a couple years now, and the last few convention events we did have didn't even get Boons.
I do have several of those wooden tokens that I never got to cash in back when it was running....

Damphirs are very rare. They were handed out for the beginner box bash, and have not been handed out since as far as I know.
Where people are often willing to trade the more common elemental boons for several other boons or paizo products or services rendered, finding someone with an unused Damhpir boon is going to be hard. Getting them to part with it, even harder.

Thanks for the information. That is really unfortunate to hear but, Is also what makes it special. Unless something like that happens again I guess I won't be able to find one. Been a paizo subscriber for many years(Since 2010) but, a PFS player for only a short while (First year playing) so I have missed out on quite a bit. Makes me wish there was some kinda loyalty boon for stuff like that lol.

All those people wanting Kitsune chronicle sheets, the boon restriction was removed for season 6 and you can just make as many as you want if you have the book with them in it.
I think there are still other uses for a boon - ones that give you a benefit on checks involving a certain race, or let you take a feat or something, as long as you have a boon for that race. I could be wrong, but I recall hearing about such things...

Precisely. The Xenophile and Xenophobia boons both require a race boon attached, and give benefits based on which race is attached.

They likely want it for Xenophobe and Xenophile boons, as those two boons "eat" racial boons to give you bonuses. Xenophile allows you to study a race and gain specialization in a "related" skill as listed on the boon, while Xenophobe gives you the Ranger's Favored Enemy bonuses regarding that race.

By the way, anyone know what this year's GenCon boons are? (GM and otherwise)
Not all of them.
The Tier 1 race boon is Skinwalker.
The Tier 2 race boon is Changeling.
The lower tier race boons were higher tier from last year, but the only one I remember is Grippli.
The other Boons that I have seen are:
Boon 6: Niche Specialist: Gain bonuses against (your choice) of Chases, Darkness, or Haunts
Boon 7: Psychic Awakening: Pick an item that you slowly infuse with psychic magic over the course of 10 adventures. Then the next time you upgrade it you get a 20% discount on the upgrade. (Or if a wand, you can partially recharge it.)
Boon 15: Psychic Apprentice: Once you have a character reach retirement age (level 12 or higher) you may have a new level one character start with a third trait (from a given list).

Changeling!?Yep. I had a feeling you'd be right on that.
It's also worth mentioning that there is a full slate of boons for the Adventure Card Game as well.
The GM boon for the Card Game allows you to play as Arueshalae, using the Rogue deck.
If I can get one of those, I'll start playing in the ACG leagues.
My current plan for that or the changeling boon is "PM me, and we'll see what I can offer".
Minis, pdfs, books, whatever. Anything I can do.

Side note, man I'd love to try a new character for the card game, especially if she comes with new stat cards. I read up on Arueshalae this morning. Sounds like a very interesting character.

I've yet to join the card game league. I personally own skull and shackles and wrath of the righteous in which I very much enjoy using Siwar (if you couldn't tell), but it'd be awesome to have a limited character to try out.

If I remember right .. Ratfolk was a tier 1 GM boon from Gencon a year or two ago.. you might find one possibly two .. but those are probably going to be almost as rare as finding 2 of 30 goblin boons that haven't been used.
Not trying to dash your hopes, just hoping you are being realistic about your chances on those two specific races

heard rumours there may be kobold boons from gencon? I'm not able to travel but would LOVE to get my hands on one. I have several other boons (mostly season 6) and a stable full of minis I could trade. anyone interested?
As Kobolds are inherently an evil race, they won't be given out as a playable race; however, there is a scenario that is runnable by 5 star GMs that gives you a chance to play a level 4 kobold pregen
Yeah, I played in the kobold scenario, was optimistically hoping they'd give us a kobold boon but it was something else. The scenario was fun though!
