The Dwarven Thunderhammer: Building a character around it.

Pathfinder First Edition General Discussion

Look at this thing. Simply beautiful.

Now, what's the best way to make use of it, that's the question. Barbarian, Fighter, some oddball class I wouldn't think of? What kind of Feats would complement it?

Off the top of my head I can think of Two-Handed Fighter as a class, with Weapon Focus/Specialization in it, but I frankly suck at building characters as I stand currently. So I turn to you, fair citizens of the Pathfinder forums, to build me a character around this beautiful piece of war machinery. Even if it's impractical as all hell I want to see it.

Funny enough, I was just thinking of a very similar type of weapon and trying to remember the post apocalyptic Anime film I saw this from.

I was wielded by a scientist that hunted mutants.

I bet Freehold DM would know the name of that series.

Why not go with the foehammer dwarven fighter archetype?

Liberty's Edge

cheng, you wouldn't happen to be thinking of Battle Angel Alita, would you? Doc with a rocket-powered hammer?

That's a good option too. Now I'm torn between more hit and more BOOM.

I'd give it to a goblin with burn burn burn to deal moar fire damage. Just take a feat to use it.

Or human fighter with racial heritage goblin and the Adoptive Parentage alternate racial trait.
You will not be able to get burn burn burn till 3rd level but what the heck.
