Prestige Purchases?

I understand that when purchasing items with gold, you are limited to the always-available list, plus whatever you have on chronicles. But what about when you purchase an item with Prestige Points? Do you follow the same limitations, or can you purchase anything (bearing in mind the 750gp limit)?

Specifically, I'm looking at wands of 1st level spells here, which cost 750gp.

You can indeed purchase 1st level wands with 2 Prestige, regardless of Fame, and it should be the same for all items under 750 gold, even firearms.

Exactly this. Spending prestige is spending favors. Just remember that things bought with prestige actually have no gold-value (you can't sell them). :)

if you haven't download and read the current version of the Campaign guide. You'll see a chart that outlines what you can purchase with a given Fame total. Subject of course to availability as defined by your Chronicles, the Additional Resources document, and what sources you have personal access to.

You can't buy any ITEM with prestige higher than 750 gp. It's 2pa for up to 750 gp, and 1pa for up to 150 gp, but you can't "pool it together" to get something worth more. You also can only buy 1 item with a prestige purchase...you can't get 2 items worth 375 GP with 2 PA. Do note there's an exception for buying a scroll with multiple castings of the same spell, since it counts as one item (such as a scroll of see invisibility with 5 castings, which would be 750 gp).

You can purchase spellcasting services and other things for more prestige according to the chart in the Organized Play Guide. Most common are the 16 PA for raise dead and 4 PA for removing the negative levels from raise dead (Need two of those since raise dead gives you 2 negative levels).
