I have been building an archer and would like to hear the opinion from others more experienced on this type of character.
If I manage to get a Seeking enchanted weapon, is there any point in getting Improved Precise Shot? Because they seem to overlap.
Of course, if I lose my seeking weapon the feat becomes useful - I simply mean otherwise.
Thanks.

Seeking only allows you to ignore concealment if you've pinpointed your target, say if your enemy is in fog, smoke, or in darkness but it does nothing for cover.
Improved Precise Shot lets you ignore soft and partial cover, like the meathead fighter who's in the way. I guess since it says "anything less than total cover," then it lets you overcome even improved cover, like an archer firing from an arrow slit through a wall. Additionally, it lets you ignore partial concealment.
Both are useful but for different things.

IPS ignores non-total cover and concealment. This includes the "soft cover" an ally in the way between you and an enemy inflicts upon your attack roll. So, IPS if nothing else, will be a +4 to hit the majority of rounds. Very good feat.
Seeking lets you ignore even total concealment, but does nothing for cover.
Ideally, both are nice to have, though if money's tight, it can be hard to justify Seeking if you have IPS, since the only net gain is when faced with total concealment / invisibility.
A rogue (who can't even get IPS till level 15 anyway) cares much more about seeking, though. Any miss chance screws over SA, so you definitely want to negate any possible form of it.
