Have you ever noticed that it is ALWAYS the same people complaining in life? There are those people in a group that all they contribute is complaints. You may know them outside of your gaming group, and that even then they complain about work, their car, their wife, etcetera. Their life must really be unfulfilling. Their are some whose threads even here only complain.
Some of them are very bright and have a lot of valid points but unfortunately everything they say is tuned out because they are always negative.
Thanks for listening to my complaint.

I've learned over the course of my life that not everyone feels the same way about complaints. Many people really hate complaining--they somehow can't enjoy anything that someone complains about. They see no value in the practice and would rather say nothing than something negative.
For me, though, I like to complain, not because I'm unhappy, but because I'm insightful :P
No, seriously, the point of criticism, despite what people who don't like being criticized think, is to improve upon something. I don't complain about things I hate--I complain about things that, if changed, would make something I like better.
In relation to the boards, people don't complain about Rogues because they hate rogues--they complain about Rogues because Rogues need improvement.
The same goes for movie critics or anything else--you criticize a movie so that the next guy to make a movie doesn't make the same mistakes. You don't do it to make the first guy feel bad or anything--that's silly, he can't change what he already did, after all, only improve for the future based on the complaints.
Complaining is awesome, and if more people did it, more stuff would be better.

In life yes, on the boards no. :)
LOL
Is that meant as sarcasm or irony? For my part, yes, not only are there people who are prone to complaining, they often complain about the same things over and over again, or perhaps the same sort of thing in a different guise.
The latter is the most common here on the boards, as people gripe/moan/complain, or yes, sometimes just ask advice on one topic, then on another topic, when the answer or the solution is the same.
For instance, when it comes to speaking with a problem player or GM. You don't need two separate threads, one about how the problem player is stealing loot, and another about how he tries to take credit for every kill, when the answer is the same for both problems.
But we see that sort of thing a lot.

I don't necessarily agree that more stuff would be better. I do agree that more things will be changed.

I can't think of any posters who always complain about the same topic, but I do know people outside the boards that do always complain about the same thing. :)

I would like to think most changes are made for the better. At least that has been my experience in life anyway.
I agree, I think that Paizo has done a good job,in taking its time, evaluating what the players have brought up, and then decide the best course of action. They are not a perfect entity, but if you compare them to WOC, it would be like comparing Mother Teresa to Stalin.
