I've responded to all requests I've received, and sent confirmation to the email address attached to the group lead's paizo.com account.
I only have a couple of 2-person slots left, and there are a few people who initially requested larger groups that I've asked to fit into those slots, so unless I post otherwise, the playtest is now full!
Thanks very much for your help!

I think venture officers were used to filter requests so that Vic would not have to deal with incomplete requests. I know about half the requests I received initially needed more information before I could send them on.
Those requests didn't really show a lot of promise for the playtest in not following the directions, but I didn't want to prevent the group's participation as long as they were able to provide the needed info eventually.

I'm keeping out of this recruitment process because Vic has it well in hand, but I just wanted to say how awesome it is that all you guys want to help us make this the game you want it to be. This kind of enthusiasm makes a game designer proud.

I can't participate being stuck in Australia, but I'm enthusiastically cheering you guys on from down here. Very excited by this project. I'm looking forward to a long running subscription. :)
With full acknowledgement that its way too early for comments like this - I hope you'll take a poll on which adventure path to tackle second.

... did i get in?
I believe Vic said that all the responses have been sent out for this playtest round (if there are to be more rounds than one, I guess we'll learn later).
I'm looking forward to hopefully seeing future playtest openings. I'm interested in this game for several reasons:
- It sounds like it's quick to pick up and play
- I love the Rise of the Runelords AP
- I love the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game
- I love the idea of what sounds something like "deck-building with a plot"
- I -really- want to see the cards and determine whether or not they can be directly translated into Pathfinder RPG game aids.

I'm just curious if anyone has received their cards yet? I have a confirmation from FedEx that they're done, but am having trouble reaching the office itself to confirm that they are waiting for me (it's an hour's drive to the office, which is in Mt. Kisco, NY, and likely was hit hard by Sandy last week).

I got my set Sunday night (Cary NC). I was heading into town Sunday so I followed up closely so I didn't have to make another drive.
I had two issues 1) they didnt have the request in my name, they had Vic's. 2) They tried to make me get a copyright form filled out but Vic sorted that out after I emailed the project email node for help. You might first try mentioning the files came from paizo and they can check the about us section on paizo.com and see Vic's name (that's how the my issue was solved).

Mine was sent to the wrong FedEx- number 2149 in Durham, NC, rather than number 2597 in Shrewsbury, MA.
We have 5 people doing 2 scenarios. Is there anyway this can be corrected to get my group playing? Thanks!
Agnelcow, below is the information you provided (which I sent to Vic).
My paizo.com forum name is "Agnelcow", the group has 5 players, we'd
be commiting to the 2 chapter playtest, and the FedEx location is
USA2597@FEDEX.COM.

They service the US and Canada. If we can't get enough playtesters near FedEx Office locations, we'll look to expand to other places... but we'll probably start with Staples, which also isn't worldwide.
There's Staples in Sweden and an store very close to where I live. :-)

Whoops, here I thought you were playtesting next year's Adventure Path. Guess I'll have to wait and see.
