2 of my players have just seen something that they would like to do when they talked it out. The Magus and the cleric want to put a Permanency spell on a weaponwand spell. The Cleric want to keep his wand of clw in it so he never has to switch. The Magus since he has Wand Wielder he is hoping to use it with a wand of Shockking grasp that he has.
Both figure that they will not be able to take it back out if they do this so that part is not a problem.
I am thinking of letting them do it at as if it is a alarm spell so it would be caster level 9 and 2.5k need. As long as they find a Wiz to cast if for them since it is not on thier list even though the Magues is the one crafting the wepons for the group.
Do any of you see a problem with this in the game?

Heh... I was just thinking about this myself and decided to look before posting.
9th & 2.5K seems reasonable, and you're assuming truly permanent. It would certainly be reasonable to additionally rule that only one wand can be bound to the weapon at a time. You want to change wands, or replace a empty wand, you'd be paying to have it done again.
The only other way I can see to do it would for it to be an actual weapon enchantment of some kind. Either +2.5K (works as above), or maybe something like +1 enchantment and you can swap the wand once a day.

They don't want Permanency. They want a long duration spell.
Possibly a better approach is to research a new spell. They want a 3rd or 4th level variant of Weaponwand that is Hours per Level or, much better, Days Per level.
Make sure it has the additional restriction that this only works for one wand at a time. You could wave this requirement if you make it a crazy-high-level spell.
P.s. Here's a comparison: First level Magic Weapon spell is to Fourth level Greater Magic Weapon as First level Weaponwand is to hypothetical new spell Greater Weaponwand. By that standard Greater Weaponwand should be a 3rd level spell just like Weaponwand but with Hours Per Level duration.
