Paladin Archtype conflict? Empyreal Knight / Sacred Servant

Rules Questions

I'm curious if Empyreal Knight and Sacred Servant conflict if a Paladin wanted to take both archtypes as at 5th level one bonds with a mount and the other bonds with a holy symbol.

HeroLab lets me add both archtypes but it's not perfect.

HeroLab isn't absolutely perfect, and that certainly looks like a conflict to me. What would you do at fifth level if you took them both?

pick one or the other lol?

You can't just pick one. If you're an Empyreal Knight, you must bond with a mount. You can't just choose not to; it's part of the archetype. Also, if you're a Sacred Servant, you must bond with a holy symbol. You can't just choose not to; it's part of the archetype.

In what sense is this not a conflict?

Yeah, I think you are right. Too bad, we (my player and I) were working on an Empyreal Knight/Sacred Servant build with Eldritch Heritage to give DR to summoned creatures.
That's ok, he didn't really want to lose Lay on Hands anyway (which Empyreal Knight takes away).
HeroLab was just working so well for awhile but I find with more obscure builds it fails sometimes; just got used to trusting it but it had me wondering with this one.
Thanks for the help.
