Eldritch fangs

Product Discussion

I can't find the feat in the advanced player's guide or the PRD for Rangers with the natural weapon combat style.

I have found Eldritch claws in the feats section and I am wondering if the entry in the ranger section is a typo and that the feat actually means the claws?

I believe it means claws. Not sure whether it has be corrected officially.

In any way, the srd writes claws.

A related question, do size up bonuses "deals damage as x times larger" follow the improved natural attack feat or the natural attacks by size, table?

I haven't seen a ruling on the matter.

However the only difference should be between 2d6 going to 3d6 by the feat, and going to 2d8 on the size table (as well as expanding the table formulae, which would be 4d8 instead of 6d6). The average difference is only 1½ damage, so it could be ruled either way, without affecting the outcome significantly.

I am inclined to use the size-table, since that is referenced in the strong jaw spell.

I just use the INA entry, but that's just because I don't want to think about the other possibilities.

thanks for the input haraldklak, you have been most helpful.
