Keen Scent (Ex) A shark can notice creatures by scent in a 180-foot radius underwater and can detect blood in the water at ranges of up to a mile. The shark is a relentless eating machine, a creature evolved over the course of eons to do one job perfectly—hunting. Sharks have achieved a special place in the lore of most seafaring races, who view them as devils, monsters, and the wrath of the gods.

I'd peg it around CR 4. Seems similar enough to the tiger.

Page 291-293 of Beastiary 1 seems to tell me that a BAB of +4 is around CR 4-6, and an AC of 19 is around CR 6, his average Damage is 16, which is CR 4, but it's huge sized, and has Grab and Swallow Whole, with Improved Init. and Swim-by,... His Str is one point low for a Huge creature, His Hit Dice look right for a CR 4 Animal. I'd call it as a CR 4, but I'll let more experienced players here pick it apart.

Now make a Megalodon, or a Magical Beast equivalent of this Great White.

Wayfinders

I'd like to say that this would actually be a CR 8, because not too many 4th level Barbarians can keep up with 17 points of damage a smack. The actual CR they have it labeled for is actually CR 9, because you look at the HD chart and with the amount of HP given I placed it at a 7 HD and since it is a Huge White Shark it gains the Giant Creature template. And I think you threw the Advanced Template on it, so it becomes a CR 9 CREATURE!

BTW The HP for the creature would be now 81 points. And the AC should be 22 because of the Natural Armor. (which would be a +12). You just created a little mini Megalodon, which would be on page 247 in the Bestiary 1. And it is worth 6,400xp.

Wayfinders

Sorry, the AC is correct, I added 3 twice.

I took plain jane shark CR 2 add Advanced template +1 CR and large template+1 CR. Then add 2 more HD cause if you add large template you should raise the HD by 50%. Also gave it the swallow whole abilty as well both for +1 CR. End line CR 5

Change the feat to put it more line for CR 5... +2 to Fort put it Fort way to high. It BaB was a little low so weapon focus bite.

The Swim- by may be littel strong may change it back to skill focus Perception wich it was in earlyer draft. Hence why Perception is +11 in skill section and +14 in sences section.

A CR 4 is what it poised to be by template addons +1 more for 2 HD extra abilty wich I though was fair.
