Not that anyone ought to take notice but I just wanted to share.
After all these years I finally got one of my gaming buddies to DM CotCT AP! I gave him my PDFs of the Campaign and he agreed to buy the print copies so he'll have his own.
We start the Campaign in about a month or so and I'm effervescent with chirp.
(Mayhaps Savage Tide and Council of Thieves are next!)
....On a side note, this also means that another one of my gaming buddies is finally gonna get into the Pathfinder world -- as a group we've been exclusive GH gamers, recently playing through ToEE, the A Series, a Sterich March campaign and we just finished a Return to Tsojcanth campaign. We were gonna do an Isle of Dread or Hepmonaland sandbox but I got everyone to agree to CotCT!
And my devout GH buddy has borrowed my Inner Sea Guide and already fallen for Cayden Cailean.

Congrat W E Ray!! I know this one has been a long time in the making for you (I remember some of your posts over the years). Glad you finally get to play it.
On another note, colour me jealous with all the GH campaigns you've been able to play in. I would love to someday be able to say I've journeyed through many of those lands but GH campaigns, to me, are as elusive as the pot of gold at the end of rainbow. Someday, maybe.

Thanks Block Knight!
You'll get to play in some of those GH adventures -- make a plan; buy a couple of those old mods and slowly ask gamers you know if they want to convert one and run it. It'll happen for you.
For me it's tougher as a Player because I've been strictly a DM for so many years and I've DMed so many of those old GH games. Now when I run a PC in a published campaign I have to let the DM know how much I remember; It can be tricky.
That's why I've had so much anticipation for STAP, CotCT and CoT -- subscribing to them and not reading them -- knowing that I'd get my chance to sit on the Players' side of the Screen eventually.
And I am stoked about this Campaign.

Hey, W E Ray, congratz!
I actualy started my second CotCT campaign this weekend! true, my first did come to a halt due to me leaving hours of driving away from the rest of the group, but the current one seems to have a much greater chance of taking up to the air!
I met with some friends to play Magic, actualy, but brought my Pathfinder stuff and Edge of Anarchy as a back up plan (we were supposed to only start the campaign a month or so from now). We were all initially bummed when we realised that we couldn't play Magic (one player coulnd't make it but didn't know about that 'till the very last moment). A few short hours of talking and making character sheets later, and we found ourselves gaming so late into the night it started ti be early in the next day, and then we played for 5 hours more the day after.
When we were done, evreyone was super stoked about the game and the adventure, and instead of thinking about when we will be able to play Magic togather (our original intent), we just kept talking of how great this was and how soon could we possibly gather again to play. I never saw any of my players so tense & excited about some situations, ever. And I have been GM for this group on and off for 4 years now.
[spoiler to Edge of Anarchy]
I wish you as much fun as we had, W E Ray! This campaign is worth it all. D&D at it's very best.

SPOILER Alert!
We had our first session last night -- went very well. We just killed Lamm and, coming outside, see Korvosa burning and hear the King is dead.
Wow!
What a way to finish the opening session!
I was not expecting that. The way the CotCT Players' Guide went on and on about Lamm I thought the whole of volume 1 was going to be about Lamm.
I guessed correctly what was stinking in the box with the cloud of flies buzzing over it!
. . . .
I'm starting a Campaign Journal in the next hour or so; it'll be up on the Boards by tonight. Not sure how well we'll be able to keep it up; the last handful of Campaign Journals I've started seemed to fizzle after a couple hundred posts -- it's just sooo hard for any of us to find time to really recap what we did.
But we're trying again. Queen Ileosa will have the first post -- not sure what I'll title the Thread yet. Maybe something as lame as "Ray finally gets to play CotCT" LOL.
