My cleric is planning on taking at least some levels of the Dawnflower Dissident Prestige Class from the new book. The chrome and flavour fits the character perfectly and I really don't care that, objectively, its arguably weaker than a pure cleric. It still gets full spell casting and it gets lots of cool powers so its not as if the nerf is THAT significant.
That said, I'm looking for any ways of bumping up either the domain powers or the channelling ability. Presumably we're talking Feats or traits although I guess conceivably there is some magic item somewhere that would also help.
At the moment, I'm waffling between taking the first 2 levels of the class at Levels 6 and then taking 3 more cleric levels (to get the Domain Powers, especially the Glory Domain) and then going up as a Dissident.
Which new book is that class from?
There's the Phlyactery of Positive Channeling. Gives you +2d6 per channel but it takes up the headband slot, which kind of sucks.
