Adamantine shields: What's the cost?

Rules Questions

I can't find anything about what an adamantine shield would cost. Anybody have an idea?

It is a weapon - shields are listed in the weapons table so 3000 gold.

But what real benefit do you think you gain from a very strong shield? Resistance to sundering? +1 to hit (master work)?

Thanks!
Answering your question, resistance to sundering. Mind you, a +3 mithril shield has hardness 21 per the information on page 175 of the CRB, so perhaps adamantine isn't necessary!

Bypasses DR when used as a weapon.

Bypasses object (and some construct's) hardness. If gonna be shield bashing as primary attack, very important.

+3 Adamantine Shield has hardness 26. :D

- Gauss

Besides, who doesn't want a shield like Captain America's?
