Master Summoner> all, no seriously, their summon monster spell-like gives them lots of versatility, add the 1 minute per summoner level duration and standard action to summon, and you have a scary summoner.
Of course, your DM has ways around it, banishment, protection spells, mass dispel magic etc. etc.

If you want your GM to hate you then play Master Summoner...seriously...it is a huge pain in the @$$. Make a Neutral Master Summoner, summon ANYTHING with a Celestial template, and then use Smite (you automatically bypass DR and on Evil Outsiders and Undead is DOUBLE damage). And to make things worse you can summon like 12 of them a day for 1 min/level as a standard action that can't be interrupted...
