If I build it, will they come?

Advice

I want to build a city eventually, but do people just wander around....” Honey I want to move, the crime rate is so high here, lets move to the forest”

Or do I need like....the leadership feat?

Probably best to discuss this with your DM. If you build it next to some great natural resources, people will probably come.

There are kingdom building rules in the kingmaker AP and in some other paizo source, too.

They'll come.. Just don't expect an exodus as soon as you build one measly house :p

People come to places of trade. I dont imagine you would need the 'leadership' feat to begin with. But to rule its good to have cohorts.

In my view, ideally u want to find a place by the sea thats close to alot of different supplies. Somewhere with little development, but isnt out of the way of normal trade routes.

And just start with a dock and a couple little things. In time, with money and trade by urself and friends, people will begin coming more often.
