HOWEVER, I was listening to the recording of Mike Brock's PFS panel at Paizocon and he mentioned that 3 races would be opened up come the new changes at Gencon. Aasimar or Tiefling might be included since they were taken out of boon rotation?
Maybe just wait a month before making the character to see.

I believe Aasimar and Tiefling boons were available at Paizocon, so they may still be in rotation. Of course, I could be wrong, and it could be that they're opened up at Gen Con. Really, you've got about a week and a half or so to wait to hear about it, so it's not like it's terribly long to wait if you've already been waiting a while :)

Specifically, when the 4.2 Guide to Organized Play comes out on August 5.

Host a small 1 day con in your area. If you can get 5-6 tables per slot, Paizo is good with Prize support boon chronicles.
I believe it requires at least 12 tables for a con. Not all the cons in the dfw area had enough games to get support, because some are either too small or didn't have enough organizing support for multiple days.
But basically race boons are a con-only thing. It's the
They were not giving out tieflings at PaizoCon. They were giving Kitsune, Wayang, Fetchling, and Nagakin.
perhaps the next races will be more Varisian and less Tian Xia.

Fifteen (15) tables actually.
Also, running a con does not guarantee a specific (or any for that matter) race boon. The decision on which boons to offer for any convention are determined by the campaign leadership and vary from con to con.
