The trip was 3 days at a good speed made by Rain's initial Profession Sailor Check (which was very good). But given that our hull was compromised and we didn't fully repair it formally, I'm wagering at least 3 days - possibly 4.

That should have us arrive at either the 17 or 18th...

Agree that it would be 3-4 days. Those that didn't claim items should get first chance at Dhaavan crafting wondrous items or Variel crafting weapons or armor.

As for loot Horatio, the spreadsheet is up to date so if you want unclaimed items just say it so I can put you down for them. If you don't want items then once we get to a port to sell items you can have your share in cash.

To be honest, I don't really understand the spreadsheet very well.

It looks like I have a very low amount of wealth/loot available for some reason; but I don't understand why, as I still haven't taken any formal loot yet...

Is there something I'm missing, or am I just not understanding the various columns and so on?

I show that you have a positive balance of 12359gp. That means if you choose not to select any of the items that is the amount of gp you would get once we get to port and sell everything. IF you want an item then that item's sell value is deducted from your balance effectively giving you a better value than purchasing something from a store.

Wow! Okay, I was looking at something that said "554.8" which seemed really low.

That being the case, I'm pretty wiped out; but I think I'd like something that has armor or something like that.

Meantime, I need to tweak my sheet some as the GM has indicated he's willing to make a few concessions with Horatio and I'm going to need to work them in soon.

Other than armor, I don't really know what i'd like yet - but I'm not entirely sure yet.

Question - how much mundane crafting stuff do we have on hand (and while i'm at it; how much will we need to fix up the ship after it was attacked)?

The crafting supplies could be used to make a few adjustments; not to mention some new shot (such as grape or chain shot) for the cannon.

Keep me posted, but I'm pretty wiped out so I'm not sure how much more I'll be on tonight; but it will get done soon :)

We can have Adular and Sandara cast make whole to repair the ship since we get back safely. That should take care of that. As for normal supplies...335 gp in crafting supplies...1425 in magical reagants.

Variel, for crafting, If you could get Dhaavan's Shield-cloak up to a +1, that'd be awesome. But Flynn's armor comes first. since i got a big AC bump and can work on AoNA's. BTW, does anyone else want a +2 AoNA, only 4k off your cut for a sweet +2 to AC? You may want to wait till you have at least +2 armor tho as far as cost goes

Seijiro would love to have his armor bumped to a +2 and bump his amulet of nat armor from +1 to +2 as well... but I don't know what his total looks like right now, as I can't read the loot list - it's too small and I can't zoom it.

Jiro, you have 6684 remaining but the problem is we are sorely lacking on magical reagents. We need to hit a port fast to liquidate items and get a stock pile of supplies to use for ourselves. there is also the plunder that we gained that could be sold as well.

If there is a port 2-3 days away I would suggest making a run there first either before reaching Tidewater Rock or our next priority.

I should also get one made for Flynn, and i jsut looked at the rules, and it'll take 6 days to get a +2 made upgrading from +1 but only 2 days to make a simple +1 amulet.

Adular, the only thing that happened (noteworthy) during the course of the evening was that Ana asked all the male officers for a dance (and I'm presuming Adular took a dance with the newcomer). And at the end of the celebration, Neko sent out a semi-cryptic telepathic message to all the officers/crew(?) and can clearly communicate it seems with everyone via telepathy at the same time. It seems there is trouble between Rain, Variel and Neko, but Adular and the others do not know what this trouble entails. I don't believe anyone had any particular rp directed at Adular, so you can do as you please re the rp. Does this help?

[Also, Dhaavan told bold tales of our recent battles to entertain the crew and much was said/praised about Adular's role in saving the officers' lives and keeping them hale so they could fight ...]

When Neko levelled, it unlocked her telepathy as well as additional power.

She can now cast spells as a 4th level sorcerer. She only gets the spellcasting, no bloodlines etc. This is in addition to the powers she already has.

The spells Neko has are as follows:

6 orisons: Acid Splash, Jolt, Prestidigitation, Ray of Frost, Root, Touch of Fatigue

4 1st level spells: Mage Armor, Magic Missile, Shield & Touch of the Sea

2 2nd level spells: Invisibility & Resist Energy

Jiro as per post # 9451, during downtime Flynn approached the group and talked about the following (abridged):

His first point revolved around underwater combat (no question to us was actually asked, but one to Ana -- more a rundown of what he did during the last fight and his thoughts on 2 dimensional vs 3 dimensional underwater fighting).

He wanted us to reconsider our tactics - Possibly having people standing/swimming behind Rain and Variel with reach weapons to hit the enemy at the same time as Rain and Variel and thus sparing the frontliners from too much injury and being the sole targets of the enemy.

He was looking for better ways of fighting in a three-dimensional area of combat, like underwater.

Second part:

Flynn asked if any of us would consider carrying a pistol or musket as a spare weapon as they hit pretty well in a fight.

This part was expressly said to Jiro:

Okay, so I amended Neko's spell list and now she has the appropriate number of spells.

Also, I have given her a backstory. Rain will learn of this story as we sail to Tidewater Rock. The rest of the crew may find out in due time (if they talk with Rain or Neko) but they will not automatically know the details of Neko's past. It's good to have it unravel appropriately in the story. ;)

Regarding Loot -

The only thing of note that I see that might be helpful to me is the Eelskin Armor +2.

However, I'm not sure at the "base rating" as Eel Skin can be either considered - Leather, hide, or studded leather armor can be produced with eel hide.

That said - what is the total AC bonus with it? Right now I have a +1 Breastplate so I'm not sure what to do.

Personally I think we ought to convert stuff to components for crafting at this point but I'm not sure how much we can score on Tidewater Rock.

If we can't score much, I'd rather we sail to somewhere we can soon.

The +2 eel hide armor has an armor value of 6 which should be one less than +1 breastplate. However the maximum dex bonus is +5 which is 2 better than breastplate. If you have a higher dex then the eel hide is the way to go. The eel hide also gives you electricity resistance 2.

Currently it looks like the breastplate is better unless you rage to give your dex a +4 bonus. Then the eel hide is better.

eel hide doesn't slow your movement to 20 though, does it?... there is that consideration as well.

It is medium armor so it would slow you up just like breastplate so that is a wash. If you do switch out armors Flynn Variel will buy the breastplate from you. Otherwise you could keep them both as I am sure Amen-set could use the eel armor effectively.
