I'm not sure all of you follow Brock on the Facebook, but this here points to all sorts of zaniness at PaizoCon UK, the Grand Convocation: Goblin Songs & Olaf.

After seeing that video, I:
a) fear for the very sanity of our dear Brock;
b) understand that he must be under tremendous Goblin strain;
c) wish I was there too.

I hope to get more updates on the chaos over the next few days.

-Pain

Edit: Goblin Frostfur Song.

Anyone know the board aliases of the PFS leaders of them there goblins?

My sanity is well in place with the drinks that have been purchased for me.

I remember that happening a lot when I was there, they are very gracious with their purchasing of beer ;)

I had two little goblins in the family enjoying themselves and would like to see what's posted.

On a different note - I heard rumours that the UK did dismiss the US favourite for Michaella and that an outsider made the race.

This is just rumour - but my information was that it was very, very close and we jumbled up the order considerably.

The race was close at the end of Paizo Con, and there were a number of place shifts after the results for both shows were tallied. But rest assured, the winner is very much a humanoid. No outsiders were ever in the running.

Mark - I used Outsider as a betting term - the opposite of favourite

My bad that this is a 'reserved' Pathfinder word.

I think Mark was trying to be Punny.

Ah - thanks. I understood that he was afraid I had disclosed that the disguised fletchling had won the race ...

Just remind me - who was the fletchling again who didn't make it ...

Grand Lodge 4/5

The top four places all shifted spots if I remember correctly.

Is your picture is there and you do not want it to be? Just shoot me an email and I will delete it from the folder.

Cheers,

Two of the goblins are mine (the young lady and the boy on the left). A shame that the young lady had a fit after getting her face paint on - and washed it off before the Grand Convocation. The other goblin also seems to have face paint that has suffered a lot.

Also the angle of the shoot doesn't show the goblin T-Shirts with the big d20 on them. It took me 2 FULL HOURS to find the second one before I left. All that effort for nothing ...

Thanks for digging this up. Nice to see my own blood as they enjoy themselves.

Thanks Crispy. Excellent camera work as usual, although the back of my bald head seems to be an overly-frequent target.

I think that given the amount of confusion caused, a change in messageboard alias is needed for me. Perhaps I should become 'not that brock'?

You flatter, most of the pictures are rubbish. I just take a lot, hope some turn out and get back to running games!

Oh, Little Thod-dites! Nice!

Looks like they were having fun.

Thod, do you know the board aliases of the others in the video? Or the individual playing Olaf?

Absolute pleasure to have you there and the chance to run a game for you, Karim.

Definitely interested in helping out with something similar in Paris. Just let me know what I can do to help.

Good photo's Crispy :) Particular thanks for getting one of the dress - while I had fun as Zarta, that dress is the most irritating costume I've ever constructed! But there is photographic evidence of it's success, unlike most of the kit I make...

The jailor was me I was very lucky with my little Goblin choir. We were told about 30 seconds before the hordes waiting outside were let in what we had to do and the song was the best I could come up with in that timescale.

This seems to require a Google+ account to be able to view the pictures.

And a brilliant song it was too, you clearly have a bit of goblin blood in your veins :) As I heard it probably 50 times that night - and sang it myself three - it went like this if I recall correctly:

"Boom, boom, go the drums,
as we kill the hu-muns,
Keep our swords nice and sharp,
and stick them in their bloody hearts!"

I kept imagining the kids going back to school and the teacher asking them what they did over the weekend. "I learned a new song, let me sing it for you!"

In any case, great job Maca, those kids were one of the highlights of the night.

We've got the photos on the PaizoCon web site now. They are divided up into
1. The Friday Balti Buffet Night and PaizoCon UK Philharmonic Kazoo Orchestra
2. The Grand Convocation - the wooing of Lady Blakros
3. Tabletop games from our GMs
We loved having the guys over from Europe. But poor Mike was very lonely as the only American. When are we going to get some more of you over to keep him company and to drink proper beer? Next year if anyone can't make PaizoCon USA why not catch it in the UK. It's much better after a rehearsal.

Go to PaizoCon UK website.
