Fair enough. There is some pretty far out stuff in there. It would be nice to get some use from it though, as I only play PFS!

I just want to bump this. It seemed to have been missed.
Is the Golarion Day Shoati Shaman Cleric/Druid archtype legal? It's from 2011, before the rule was changed about message board material legal. Hero Labs has it listed (I know their not perfect) as PFS legal material, but it's not on the Additional Resources one way or the other. If not, can/should it be made so?

erm... Harrower prereqs include Harrowed; current additional resources doesn't allow it:
Feats: all feats on pages 284–289 except Eye of the Arclord, Fortune Teller, Hamatulatsu, Harrowed, and Shade of the Uskwood.

I was going through my materials today to make sure they were allowed for PFS play according to the Additional Resources page and found a discrepancy between what is on the web page and what is the the downloadable PDF.
On the web page, it lists three spells from "Pathfinder Campaign Setting: Distant Worlds" as allowable, but there is no mention of this source in the downloadable PDF. Which is correct?

Two Questions:
1) Inner Sea Magic, Varisian Pilgrim: Should the 8th level ability still be replaced? I could see problems where people with this archetype currently don't have harrow decks would sorta screw them over. At the same time, with current harrow stuff being allowed, perhaps the original ability should now be at least an option with a deck?
2) Alchemy Manual: Spontaneous Alchemy is allowed. Can it be used by anyone, or only those of the Alchemist class (like normal alchemical crafting)?

Thank you, I missed that one.

I'm guessing both are correct. The one in Orcs of Golarion requires you to worship the Destroyer, while the one in the ARG doesn't.
General rule of thumb as explained to me is to always use the most recent printing of a book. If Orcs of Golarion is newer than the ARG, follow it. If the ARG has a second or third printing that's newer than Orcs of Golarion, follow that book.

Would it still be legal to use the character (but not use the Harrow required options until there's a ruling) or is the character in some paradoxical legal at a table/illegal online limbo?
I suggest you make a thread to discuss that and how to handle harrow online, as it needs to be discussed, but not here.
A reminder: let's keep this thread strictly about updates to the Additional Resources to keep it easier to sort through, please.

Apologies if my searchfu is weak, but I wanted to clarify:
None of the benefits in the Pathfinder Chronicles Faction Guide for the Pathfinder Society listed on page 36+ are legal for PFS play from any other source, correct?
I assume the only thing legal for play are those things few things actually listed in the Additional Resources entry, which excludes the items I'm talking about e.g. exchanging a trait, gaining a contact, etc.

That's correct. Your two and ONLY sources for what's legal to play are the latest published versions of the Campaign Guide and Additional Resources, both downloadable in the Society area of this website. If it' not blessed by one of these two documents, it's not legal for play.

Pathfinder Player Companion: Blood of the Moon
To create a skinwalker (which includes all were-kin), you must have a Chronicle sheet that opens the race as a legal option at character creation.
Note: Racial feats, racial traits, and racial spells are only available for characters of the skinwalker race. Racial equipment and magic items can be purchased and used by any race as long as the specific item permits it.
The becoming a lycanthrope section of this book is not legal for Pathfinder Society play unless noted on a future Chronicle sheet.
Equipment: all equipment on page 30 are legal; Magic Items: all magic items on pages 30-31 are legal; Mystery: the lunar mystery is legal for play.
The above entry states that racial feats, traits, spells are only available to skinwalkers, but the book lists several feats which are available to "and those who associate with these creatures" in addition to the specific races.
Are these feats allowed in PFS?

Dragnmoon wrote:I noticed with Inner Sea Gods Irez was added back as legal. I am not sure why Irez was removed as legal from Chronicles of Righteous but was Irez intentionally added back but just Pathfinder Campaign Setting: Inner Sea Gods as a source?Yes. She was removed as legal from CoR because of the card mechanics of her obedience. Those mechanics aren't listed anywhere I can find in ISG so it isn't an issue that has to be resolved with that book.
With the Harrowing sourcebook coming out soon, I'm looking at different ways we can incorporate the Harrow Deck, and all the things that go with it, into PFS. If the VOs, John, and I come up with a resolution I'm happy with, them I would consider adding all the neat harrow stuff into the campaign. If that occurred, then we would take a closer look at whether to open up Irez and her obedience from CoR for play.
Per Additional resources, She is still listed illegal from Chronicles of the Righteous. With the harrow changes, is it possible to add her obedience back in if you are using a harrow deck?

Owie. My eyes hurt.
Someone turned on the red "this has changed" just above the Pathfinder Rulebook ssection, and never turned it off. Everything from that point on is red.
Including stuff that I am fairly sure has not changed in years....
The page still looks normal to me. I even cleared my cache and refreshed a couple of times to make sure.

Just did the refresh on it, still shows as red starting from Deadly Dealer in the Varisia book section, all the way to the bottom of the page.
Probably related to a few ... things that we do at work, such as using Internet Explorer, and my PC at work still being on IE 8....
Microsoft. Meh. Probably other browsers just automatically end the red definition at the end of the paragraph, but IE doesn't, or something simple like that.
Edit: Just went in through Chrome, which we have for access to a specific web site, and it shows the red ending at the end of the Varisia book citation.

If it hasn't been fixed yet, maybe put something on the Website Feedback forum...that'll probably get it resolved quicker.

Has anyone figured out if Spontaneous Alchemy rules are legal for everyone or just Alchemists?
Well, considering that it's a blanket "is legal for play" rather than stating a restriction to limit it to just the character already able to use Craft (alchemy) to produce items... I'd say it's open for everyone.
Keep in mind that spontaneous alchemy isn't designed to be cheaper than buying the item outright (in fact, the two items I looked at to check were more expensive), but rather allow you to come up with the alchemical item with what you have on hand; simply buy some reagents, then spend a bit of time to work up the item you need in the field.

This is how I read it too. And yes, spontaneously crafted items are more expensive than buying. I just thought perhaps it bore some explicit approval given the general crafting rules of PFS. I guess those are due to money though, and perhaps this is a case of specific trumping general.
