Why couldn't Claw Blades be made of a Special Material?

There is nothing that suggests that at all.

they can be made from one type of material not 5

I know. The 5 material line was a joke. I already stated that.

Still, you have two sets of claws, each can be a different material.
You can also use weapon blanch on them.

but how quickly can you swap between them ;)

says price is per hand so you could have 2 differnt material one on each hand but you enchant them as seperate weapons

Look, all I'm saying is that FCT specifically calls out "natural weapons" in it's Benefit section, and Claw Blades makes your Claws into non-natural weapons, so FCT can't be used with Claw Blades.

This is true, but if we're talking about this Fighter/Monk/Sorc/DD build, you're not going to get iterative attacks very early on. At level 10, for example, you'd be looking at either 2 claws at BAB +6, or 2 claws at BAB +6 and +1. With flurry of blows, you'd be doing 2 attacks at +5. None of these are super optimal. With the claw blades, you wouldn't be able to do the 2 claws at BAB +6, since they're now considered light weapons. If you went Two-Weapon Fighting instead, you'd get 3 claws at +4/+4/-1. A little better.

Anyway, the point is the claw blades DO have drawbacks, as they should. They shouldn't just make claws way better all the time. I think them becoming light slashing weapons is to balance out the fact that you can now enchant your claws.

I think you miss my point. I believe the claw blades were intended to simply make claws more versatile, I do not believe any super complex rules interactions were intended by the devs, and I don't believe it was intended to require TWF to use your claws with claw blades, nor to keep the claws from being considered still natural attacks for things like feats etc (see the bruhaha in the thread about about Feral Combat Training). I believe they were intended as a way to let people who wanted to use natural attacks have a way to enchant those at the same cost as someone who is using TWF at higher levels, and that's about it. Unfortunately, the wording, depending on how you parse it, negates that ability (again, see above thread).

Right now, if you want your claws to keep pace with a pair of short swords, you have to expend more money and more feats, and you're likely still going to do less damage than the TWF guy. I honestly think it was intended to make NA builds more reasonable.
