BB character HP

Hi Guys

I am starting a BB game this weekend, i got everyone involved to meet up and make their characters.

One thing I was confused about is starting character HP

It states one thing in the Players handbook, but the pre made characters have more?

Am I suppose to add their CON modifier to the total HP or have I missed something?

I don't know the Beginners Box rules, but normally you apply the con modifier per hit dice (per level). So that might well be the explanation.

Yes. You add CON to their hp each level.

There is also the potential, they are adding 1 HP per favored class level.

I do not think Favored Class is in Beginner Box rules.
