Electric Burning Hands

Is there an electric equivalent to the Burning Hands spell? Mainly for character theme reasons.

Not that I'm aware of. Just re-skin it, with DM approval, of course.

Grand Lodge

If you have a Sorcerer with the Elemental: Air bloodline, you can substitute electric in for other energy damage types in spells, and one of the bloodline spells is Burning Hands which can only be used with electrical damage...

I recall there being an arcana that allows socerors to reflavor spells so burning hands could be a small cone of static

You can do a few things. One is to simply create the spell under the guidelines for designing and researching a new spell in the Core book. For something like this, it shouldn't be difficult or costly at all.

Evocer Wizards get an ability to switch around energy #/Day, and there are a few Feats that allow this or similar, too. I think it is n the PG that allws you to add another type of energy to an energy spell for +1 level, so it would do half electricity and half fire damage.

Many GMs will allow sorcerers (and sometimes wizards) to bypass the spell research for such a simple change for a spell gained on leveling up.

Thanks. Ended up just re-skinning it as that seemed far easiest.

A cone of electrical arcs shoots from your fingertips.

Any creature in the area of the electricity takes 1d4 points of electrical damage per caster level (maximum 5d4).

When delivering the jolt, you gain a +3 bonus on attack rolls if the opponent is wearing metal armor (or is carrying a metal weapon or is made of metal).

Just like the Emperor. "so be it, jedi"

I knew it! I was gonna ask if this was for those 'only now in the end do you understand' moments :P
