It's kind of Unreal to see things get going this quickly. I'm sure that once everything gets setup in the temp offices you guys will have things running like a finely-tuned Engine. After all, having Four additional developers working on things will speed things along nicely.
I'm kind of curious how much of things like class design, economy (profession chains), the contract system, dynamic content, and all of those topics will be at least partially built up enough to give us kickstarters a glimpse at what the final product will entail.

Just read through it. Good to see that everything is falling together and can't wait for the next update. Really excited the dungeons I selected got picked. Should be good stuff. Keep toiling Goblins. lol
Great minds think alike! I choose those 3 as well... I think they all go well together and give some continuity! I am so excited I cannot wait to see what they have in store for the demo.

This is really exciting! Glad to see things falling into place for you folks, and can't wait to see things move along.
One question I've been wondering about is what the increased funding from the Kickstarter (stretch goals) will allow you to do. I know the dungeons listed in the demo will be added, but I'm assuming that it might have helped you add staff positions, and other such things.
I know money is a hard thing to talk about openly, but are there any cool things you could mention that were made possible by the increased funding?

hehe... nice! Am I the first one to notice your hidden encoding? I'm no expert on this topic, but I was looking at UE4 Elemental demo and it was pretty amazing!
I was a bit disappointed to hear that you guys didn't land the deal you were hoping for (makes me think that the chosen solution isn't as ideal for your vision)... but I'm sure you'll produce a product worthy of the Pathfinder brand! Looking forward to the demo or whatever preview you guys come up with to show off your early work.

Yeah, I got bored at work. Glad someone liked it.

I'm a little sad I won't get the Haunted Crypts - I simply love killing Undead. But it's nice that there seems to be some potential consistency between Forgotten Laboratory and The Enigma Vaults.
Ditto--voted for that one as well.
This is great news though! I'm really excited to see the demo, to learn more about the middleware, and to have this all much more "real."

I've circled September 9th on my calendar. I'll try to be patient until then, but I remember circling April 25th back when I read this:
Since the last blog, we've moved closer to finalizing our middleware, and we're also about to make our first hires outside of the executive team! We should have more to share on those topics in the next few blogs.
That was in the appropriately named Time is the Fire in which We Burn from March 14th.

Will we ever find out what the middleware that didn't happen was? Or is that going to be sealed behind NDAs forever?
We have no desire to talk about that sort of thing; the potential unpleasantness that could arise from such a discussion far outweighs the extremely limited potential positive value.

That's pretty much what I expected. Thanks for clarifying it, though.
